Goal: Punish man who allegedly abused his puppy and lied to the vet about the victim’s injuries.
A puppy suffered serious, painful injures after he was allegedly thrown against a wall and beaten. The suspect apparently lied to the veterinarian, stating that the animal was hit by a car. If found guilty, then this man must be punished for this apparent cruelty.
Coco, a Labrador puppy, reportedly endured agonizing pain for an entire day before his owner, Daniel Keelan, took him to an animal hospital. There, veterinarians diagnosed him with a fractured femur and broken ribs- injuries not consistent with Keelan’s story. Per police, Keelan kicked and punched Coco and then threw him against a wall while his children looked on. A second puppy was found at the suspect’s home, and luckily that animal was deemed unharmed.
Coco had emergency surgery to insert metal plates into his bones. He is expected to recover. Keelan is facing charges of animal cruelty and child endangerment. Sign below and demand that he receive the harshest legal sentence possible, if found guilty.

A Labrador puppy named Coco is recovering in a Suffolk County animal hospital after allegedly enduring horrific abuse at the hands of his owner, Daniel Keelan. Per police, the suspect punched and kicked the dog before throwing him against a wall. This apparent abuse seemingly occurred in front of the suspect’s young children.
Coco suffered broken ribs and a fractured femur and had to have emergency surgery to save his life. He is expected to recover. Justice must be served not only to ensure Coco’s safely, but also that of the children who seemingly witnessed the act.
I demand that you prosecute this case and seek the harshest legal sentence possible.

No pets, no kids or spouses for this piece of crap!!! Prosecute and sentence to prison so he can’t hurt any other living thing.
This POS is a coward & a liar. He should get the same sentence he dished out to poor sweet Coco then have his evil arse thrown in jail (& hopefully hang himself). Coco must NEVER go back to this POS and the other puppy should be taken away also. He must NEVER be allowed near or to own any animals EVER!!!
That bastard deserves to be shot dead. I hope the puppies are seized from that home and not given back. That asshole must be banned for life from owning or being around any animals ever again. Punish him to the fullest extent of the law, remove ALL animals from the home, demand he never own animals again. And, please lobby to expand cruelty laws and increase penalties because without laws and enthusiastic, professiinal enforcement, we aren’t really helping animals.

I feel terrible for that poor little pup. Hopefully, Coco will find a kind and loving home where he can heal from not only the physical abuse but, more importantly, the psychological abuse. Throw the book at Daniel Keelan! Not only should he serve MAXIMUM jail time but he should be ordered (upon release) to hours upon hours behavior courses as well as community service (NOT working with animals)!
I agree with the other messages. This man should not have ANY animals or children. He is an irresponsible adult and deserves prison time as well as fines. Remove the animals and children.

Daniel Keelan is a monster, animal abuser and liar. Please charge him and put him away for a long long time. Poor Coco was brutally tortured and abused by this sick depraved subhuman.
Remove ALL animals from his home, make him PAY ALL VET BILLS to restore this poor puppy to full health, prosecute to the fullest extent of the law for egregious animal abuse and cruelty, and BAN him from ever purchasing, owning, caring for or working with ANY animals ever again.
Daniel Keelan should be executed! Anyone who abuses an animal should receive the death penalty!!!
