Goal: Justly punish man who allegedly killed cat by forcefully slamming animal against a pole and the ground many times.
Police arrested Jesus Jose Vega for reportedly hitting a cat against the ground and a nearby pole multiple times. He needs to receive the maximum punishment if he is found guilty to better ensure other animals in the surrounding area will remain safe.
Vega was quickly arrested after police talked to witnesses about the alleged incident. The cat was reportedly hurt so badly, the animal died as a result of the injuries.
Vega is being held on a $10,000 bond. Since animal cruelty is considered a felony in Texas, he could receive a maximum fine of $10,000 and a 10-year prison sentence if it is discovered he mistreated this helpless cat. Sign this petition to demand Vega be given the longest prison sentence possible, as well as the most fines allowed for this crime, if it is found he abused this innocent creature.

Dear District Attorney Rosales,
Jesus Jose Vega was arrested after it was alleged he brutally smacked a cat against the ground and a pole numerous times. It is important that he receive the harshest penalty possible in order to stop him from hurting other innocent animals if he is found guilty of this crime.
After witnesses told authorities what allegedly happened, Vega was immediately arrested. The cat sustained so many injuries from the reported mistreatment that he did not survive. The pain that this animal must have felt when the alleged incident took place is unthinkable.
Vega will remain in jail unless a $10,000 bond is paid for his release. However, other animals, including pets, may be in danger if he is found guilty and released too soon. Studies have also shown that people who abuse animals oftentimes later severely hurt or kill people. We therefore demand you seek an entire 10- year prison sentence for Vega and that you further tell the courts that he should be required to pay no less than a $10,000 fine if it is found he committed this inexcusable act of animal cruelty.

Animal abuse needs to have harsher and stricter punishment. Animal abusers can potentially turn their abuse onto humans as well. Take these crimes against animals more seriously.

I am so sick of these evil pieces of crap, that I am all for the old-fashioned ways of dealing with these useless, brainless, wastes of humanity. Such as: (1) Firing squad( only continue to fire into him with BB’s until he is severely injured and in agonizing pain with no doctor’s attention for a week), (2) Hanging for about a week (only upside down from a public pole, as people just walk by forbidden to touch or help him in anyway) (3) Those wooden slats where he have his head and arms put through three holes and people can throw stones at him all day long. All these things he has to go through for about a week. Then tattoo animal killer across his forehead before throwing him in prison for years, with no goofy lawyer able to get him off and no senseless judge slapping him on the wrist and letting him walk, with the promise he is going to be good. Now if the laws were worth anything, this is what they would push for. But they are not worth a plug nickel! That’s why these useless punks get away with these crimes, causing poor animals to suffer.
