Goal: Punish man who allegedly beat his dogs and do not give him back his animals.
Surveillance video appears to show two dogs being cruelly beaten by their owner. The first video allegedly shows one of them being punched several times, while another one reportedly shows a second canine being swung by the leash and thrown across a table. Jonathan Sanchez was arrested for two counts of animal cruelty shortly afterwards. He needs to be given a tough legal sentence and no longer be allowed to have animals if he is found guilty of these heartless acts.
Authorities stated that the dogs would be looked at by a veterinarian, although no reports pertaining to their current state have been released. They are being held at the Primera animal shelter until Sanchez’s trial takes place. During his trial, officials will discuss whether or not Sanchez should be given back his dogs. Sign this petition to demand that Sanchez be sent to prison and no longer be allowed to be around animals if he is found guilty of this inexcusable abuse.

Dear District Attorney Saenz,
Jonathan Sanchez was recently arrested after police claimed surveillance camera showed him severely beating his two dogs. He needs to spend a lengthy amount of time in prison and no longer be allowed to have pets if he is found guilty to better ensure other animals will remain safe.
Officers reported that one video shows Sanchez harshly punching his dog a few times. He can also reportedly be seen in a separate incident picking up another dog and swinging the animal by the leash before violently throwing the canine across a table.
While both dogs survived the alleged vicious attack, the extent of their suffering is not known. They will remain in the care of Primera animal shelter, while their fate is decided. Despite how badly these dogs were reportedly beaten, the court will consider once again giving them back to Sanchez. We therefore demand you seek an appropriate punishment for him and that you also tell the court that someone who treats animals in such a despicable manner should not be allowed to be a pet owner if he is found guilty of these thoughtless crimes.
