Success: Man Who Brutally Stomped Puppy to Death Sentenced to 12 Years in Prison

Target: Greg Willis, District Attorney for Collin County, Texas

Goal: Applaud harsh penalty given to man found guilty of stomping a young puppy to death.

A man who threw a boxer mix puppy against a wall and then stomped on him so that he sustained fatal injuries will be imprisoned for a long time thanks to the efforts of Collin County District Attorney Greg Willis. The case drew widespread public outrage, as evidenced by online petitions like this one on ForceChange. Sign this petition to express your support for this decision, which demonstrates that animal cruelty will not be tolerated.

Andrew Callaway has been sentenced to spend 12 years in prison for having beaten and stomped a boxer puppy named Diesel so violently that he had to be euthanized. Both of Diesel’s hips and legs were severely fractured. Veterinarians had hoped to save his life by performing a series of operations, but ultimately the decision was made to humanely end his suffering.

While sending Callaway to prison will not bring back this innocent animal’s life, it is an important signal to other would-be abusers that such acts of savagery are not without consequence. Sign this petition to thank the district attorney in this case for seeking the harshest possible penalty.

PETITION LETTER:

Dear District Attorney Willis,

As you are aware, a puppy was subjected to a cruel and untimely death after a Wylie area man named Andrew Callaway threw him against the wall and stomped him to death, crushing the lower half of his body. This horrendous crime sent shock waves of grief and outrage throughout the community and worldwide. While there is no punishment severe enough to right this awful wrong, your decision to seek the harshest possible sentence for Mr. Callaway was the best way to ensure that justice would be served.

The fact that Callaway has been found guilty and will now spend the next 12 years in prison not only means that he will be unable to cause harm to any animals during this time, it also sends an important message to other would-be animal abusers. We, the undersigned, want to thank you for making sure that this act of extreme cruelty did not go unpunished.

Sincerely,

[Your Name Here]

    Thank God for justice!

  3. Enjoy your 12 years in prison, Callaway. You’ll be wearing diapers in a couple of years.

  4. Great news, hopefully a deterrent to the mindless sick thugs who enjoy animal torture. Hope you get violated in there to Callaway. Enjoy your stay

RIP DIESEL. Although the piece of human crap is now being kept at the taxpayers expense, he took an innocent life, so should give up his .. being kept for 12 years is not a punishment as doesn’t have to work to keep a roof over his scrawny murderous head ..

  6. Suzanna van der Voort says:

And now we have to fight against the abuse and the cruelty raising farm animals, the horrors in slaughterhouses and during the transport of livestock….

    • I do, every day. What we need to do is get rid of jokers like our ‘president’ and all his cretin cronies. A true environmentalist has to be voted in!

  7. 8. Kathleen McGullam says:

This person deserves to get the cruel and vicious treatment in prison that he gave to this innocent creature who could not fight back. This is a horrible person who needs to be locked up with violent people like himself. We need more justice like this for the animals and people who are victims of these monsters.

  9. And here I was waiting for an invitation to his public draw and quartering! Nothing less would have satisfied me! Piece of inbred low-life filth!!!!!

  10. Dolores Proubasta says:

Thank you Mr. Willis and all who contributed to deliver a sentence with some teeth. This is rarely the case in animal abuse and murder. Callaway won’t be a menace for a while.

  11. Debra Jordan says:

Thank God this monster gets what he deserves! Now hopefully other law enforcements will put away animal abusers.

  12. Thank God one state has harsh punishment laws for animal abusers….now all the other states need to get on board and start increasing jail time and fines for these slugs.

  13. 12 years imprisoned is good BUT it is still not enough, i hope the kind hearted inmates will break both his legs and he will get stomped hard but please let him live, he has to suffer in pain for the rest of his lowlife.

  14. 12 years is good. But should have been longer. He still murdered an innocent baby dog.it could be a child next. He’s a danger to man and animal.

  15. This is what needs to happen. We need to make the punishment fit the crime. Hopefully there are a lot of dog lovers in the prison he does his time in!

  16. God bless the legal system that found Callaway guilty of Diesel’s horrible death and sentenced him to 12 years of confinement. I hope other judges and juries follow this example. Until we become stronger on the punishment for animal abusers they’ll skate along thinking they’ll just get a smack on the hand. Enjoy your jail time Callaway. Now you can test your mettle against those who can defend themselves in person against you.

  17. FANTASTIC NEWS…LET IT BE A LESSON TO ANIMAL ABUSERS..

  18. Derinda Nilsson says:

    This makes my day!!!

  19. What about when this monster gets out in 12 years? They better monitor him strictly.. he should be in solitary confinement for life!

  20. Diane johnson says:

Thank you.. thank you… thank you for doing the right punishment!!!! Please make sure he is monitored when he gets out to never ever be able to own or be around any animals!!!! PLEASE keep this POS in prison for his full 12 years!!!!!
