Dead and Dying Kittens Apparently Smeared in Feces and Urine in Plastic Bin Deserve Justice

Target: Ashley Moody, Attorney General of Florida

Goal: Prosecute and ensure severe penalties for the alleged abuse and neglect of seven cats.

In a deeply disturbing incident in Largo, Florida, seven kittens were allegedly subjected to extreme abuse and neglect. This situation came to light when Pinellas County Sheriff’s Office deputies charged a 37-year-old man, following a distressing discovery at a local animal shelter. Allegedly, this man surrendered a plastic bin and a suitcase to the Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals, containing five dead cats and two others in critical condition. The cats, all under 18 months old, were reportedly found “wet to the touch” and smeared in feces and urine. One of the two surviving kittens was seemingly in such a dire state that euthanasia was deemed the only humane option. The other exhibited a life-threatening internal temperature of 106 degrees Fahrenheit, illustrating the severity of its apparent suffering.

Further investigation revealed that these cats had allegedly been under the man’s care for over a week, during which time their conditions drastically deteriorated. He reportedly claimed to have taken up the responsibility for a friend who was away, only to surrender them to the SPCA when he apparently grew tired of their care. The containers used for this reportedly cruel act were not only inappropriate, but evidently contributed to the animals’ severe distress and demise. Detectives believe the kittens were alive and well before being confined, highlighting the alleged negligence that led to their suffering.

This heartbreaking case underscores the urgent need for stricter animal welfare laws and enforcement. The apparent callousness and disregard for the well-being of these innocent animals demand a strong legal response. The severity of this alleged crime warrants thorough prosecution to ensure such acts of cruelty are met with the full force of the law. Take immediate and decisive action.

PETITION LETTER:

Dear Attorney General Ashley Moody,

We are deeply troubled by the alleged abuse and neglect of seven young cats in Largo, as reported by the Pinellas County Sheriff’s Office. The details of this case, involving the reportedly severe mistreatment and subsequent death or euthanasia of these animals, are profoundly distressing. Allegations suggest that the man responsible for their care chose to confine them in a manner leading to their suffering and death. This action allegedly resulted in conditions so dire that one cat had to be euthanized upon rescue, and another suffered from life-threatening conditions.

The community looks to you for justice in this harrowing case. The allegations against the accused, including seven counts of aggravated animal abuse, highlight a grievous disregard for life and welfare. The facts, as reported, suggest these innocent animals were subjected to unimaginable suffering due to neglect and improper care. Their treatment under his care, as described, demands not just our collective outrage but a legal response that reflects the seriousness of these alleged acts.

We urge you to pursue this case with the utmost rigor and to seek penalties that not only serve justice but also deter similar acts of cruelty in the future. The protection of vulnerable animals relies on the enforcement of our laws and the message sent by their application. We implore you to ensure that this case receives the attention it deserves, leading to a resolution that affirms our community’s commitment to compassion and justice.

Sincerely,

[Your Name Here]

  1. The sunshine state strikes again. Maybe desantis should take some time and create some laws that punish these assholes.

  2. Nena Miller says:

Lazy POS. Put him in jail. Make it worth his while.

  3. The abuse won’t stop until the punishments are way more severe and even more important, enforced to their fullest extent. In the case of child and animal abuse, eye for an eye justice would be most effective.

    • I couldn’t agree with you more this p.o.s. needs to be punished to the fullest extent of the law period this is an act of animal cruelty when will this end with all animals 😢

  4. Give this subhuman the same treatment he gave the cats. 7 years in prison per cat. Should save the life of other animals

  6. Can I please be allowed to beat the shit out of these people without any consequences happening to me? I just can’t with these people anymore. Everyday, one case of cruelty after another. Such disregard for life. Unreal!

  7. One way to ensure this subhuman never hurts another animal or our children is to smash his hands and feet so he’ll never have an opportunity to ever do harm to any living being .

    • I agree 100%! At this very moment I am doing everything I can to make a dying Fiv+, 19 yr old kitty comfortable.

I cannot nor would I ever want to know the thoughts of the SOB’s that create such disturbing cases.

    • agree

    • Exactly Sister Tammy.
Animal protection groups need to be formed ( hopefully there are some out there already) to deal with these waste of space torturing sods!
If well off people who love their animals (dogs cats etc) could offer a ‘bounty’ on the heads of these demented buggers, I am quite sure that there would be many takers.
Do the job, collect the money at a ‘pre- arranged place ‘ and have a very good nights sleep afterwards.
As I said previously, these pricks are COWARDS and would I imagine their tiny brains to slowly engage that it could happen to them.
Also, if these pricks read the submissions here I would say to them—- Be AFRAID— Be VERY AFRAID, as you could be classed as a DEAD MAN (OR WOMAN) still walking.
There are ANIMAL LOVING people out there who will have YOUR ASS no sweat!!
And as I have again hinted before, this can be accomplished with care and planning. I’ll say no more!!!!!

  8. Stephanie Wilkerson says:

He deserves capital punishment, as does everyone who tortures and/or kills animals in cases like these. That will be a serious deterrent. The cats’ lives were worth more than is his to me.

  9. chop his hands off

  10. Aprille Gilmore says:

Serious time in jail, large fines and national offender registries…there must be serious consequences, comprehensive legislation, harsh punishment and the funding to enforce the law…or why even bother pretending we care about animal welfare. ALL US states have weak laws and animal cruelty issues but, Florida, is notorious. Please, prosecute this case. Publicize your commitment to animal welfare and create more muscular legislation.

  11. RITA VAN EECKENRODE says:

AGAIN IN THE USA???? ARE THERE NORMAL PEOPLE LIVING OVER THERE??? I REALLY DOUBT IT. TO THE SMAE WITH THOSE MONSTERS. NO MERCY.

  12. Should release this fuckers name and put a bounty on his head

  13. Can this piece of shit be exposed to the public please? He needs to be locked up in a cage with his own urine and shit and left to die in that state.

  14. Evil bastard jail him what a pos poor things. Animal abuse is disgusting

  15. WTF is wrong with these people Lock them away and throw away the key 🤬

  16. Janet Walker says:

Unbelievable cruelty. This person or persons need to be brought to justice. Make the punishment fit the crime.

  17. What’s WRONG with you guys in the U.S. You stand for the worst animal abuse in the world! Anyone can hurt an animal, keep him/her chained outside in biting cold (yes, animals are him/her, NOT “it”) and lots of other paranoid, perverted and pathological forms of animal torture. It’s time you understood that animals are complex and intelligent sentient beings, not toys and commodities for sadists and other irresponsible and mentally-deranged lowlife scum.

No animal deserves to be the victim of DEHUMANIZED and DESENSITIZED SADISTIC PSYCHOPATHS!!!
SET a PRECEDENT, and punish to the full extent of the law!

  18. all worthless, fucking animal abusers should die

  19. Carolyb Ecton says:

Attorney General Ashley Moody, can you tell us what your plans are fir this terrible case of animal abuse? The perpetrator obviously requires mental health care and jail time.

  20. Maria Lavorato says:

Why are you not publishing his name?

Wake up now and punish all animal cruelty severely each and every time so that we can see an end to this insanity.

These sweet little kittens had no chance. Lawmakers and law enforcers GIVE THEM JUSTICE!!!! Your pathetic slaps on the wrist is the main reason we keep see animal torture. MAKE IT END!!!!!
