About 300 dogs who had reportedly suffered from severe neglect were seized from a Nevada property. The animals had allegedly sustained extensive injuries from being packed into close quarters. Suspects Oksana Higgins and Vasili Platunov were charged with felony animal cruelty. Yet what may seem like the end of the story could be the beginning of an even worse tale.
Recent disclosures, including obtained emails, paint a picture of potential pervasive abuse that lasted for years…all allegedly under the noses—and even with the possible assistance—of local officials. For one, the suspects, who are reportedly animal breeders–had received frequent visits because they were apparently in violation of town ordinances about the number of animals allowed on a property. A district judge’s so-called solution was not to shut down this enterprise but instead to let the dogs be moved to another region. Animal control officers then supposedly aided the relocation of these dogs to the property where they would eventually be seized and even helped buy cages and other materials.
And these allegations are not the end of the story, either. A few months before the seizure, this same animal control unit is said to have written up over 200 violations against the suspects. The district attorney, however, apparently did not lift a finger in pursuing these potential charges. Now that officials are in the hot seat, an internal investigation has suddenly been launched by a sheriff’s office also under fire for alleged inaction.

Oksana Higgins and Vasili Platunov allegedly put hundreds of dogs at severe risk, but according to the increasingly troubling reports they may not have been alone. Allegations have emerged that the sheriff’s office, the district court system, and even a county attorney’s office may have each played a role in perpetuating these deeply troubling circumstances. A community must be able to rely upon its legal professionals to uphold the law, no matter where the facts lead. As has been frequently repeated, a coverup can be much worse than the actual crime.
Please ensure that Oksana Higgins and Vasili Platunov are prosecuted to the fullest extent. But also hold any person who may have helped continue their alleged crimes morally and legally accountable as well.

It makes me sick to think that the very people who are being paid to look out for helpless animals in the hands of abusers do nothing to help these animals. Even the government officials turned a blind eye. I will say it again, the despicable owners, animals protection agency and the government officials should be be put in the same situation as these animals were in. Let’s see how all of them like it. None of them deserve their positions.

The vile and evil psycho Suspects Oksana Higgins and Vasili Platunov the monster psycho were charged with felony animal cruelty. These psycho vile and evil lowlife pos monsters must be eradicated from our Planet immediately.
America is not a third or fourth world country, we are better than this and there is no excuse in the world that could justify or explain this disaster. Nevada, and several other states, are indifferent and uninterested in animal welfare and give ‘owners’ ridiculous leeway to use, abuse and torture pets. Let’s move into the year 2022 and give up these barbaric ideas about how we can treat pets and other animals. Be a leader Nevada, not a bunch of losers.
Unfortunately, America isn’t better than this – and – it’s the authorities helping animal abusers.
This is despicable. ALL INVOLVED parties must be held accountable and prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law for egregious animal abuse and cruelty. Those officials MUST be stripped of their duties. All parties should be made to pay ALL VET BILLS to restore these poor animals to full health. All parties should be PERMANENTLY BANNED from ever purchasing, owning, working with, living with or caring with any animals ever again.
Horrible — Such PSYCHOS belong nowhere near Animals — Authorities MUST NEVER turn a blind eye — CRIMES against ANIMALS must be taken SERIOUSLY — REMOVE all Dogs from ABUSERS & into Loving Rescues — PSYCHOS will NOT STOP — make ABUSERS PAY dearly for depraved CRIMES — ENSURE they NEVER AGAIN adopt nor be in possession of Animals — WHO do they think they are — Animals MUST be PROTECTED
That breeder ought to be punished in the way he made suffer the animals he was responsible for.
Instigation of the death penalty is essential to be implemented globally to all animal abusers.
SEND THEM BACK TO RUSSIA…evidently animal abuse is tolerated there. Vorruption is also tolerated there. Round up there associates too and Russian mafia here. Return them all to Russia. Never allow them to return to the U.S.
