Target: Greg Willis, District Attorney for Collin County, Texas
Goal: Applaud harsh penalty given to man found guilty of stomping a young puppy to death.
A man who threw a boxer mix puppy against a wall and then stomped on him so that he sustained fatal injuries will be imprisoned for a long time thanks to the efforts of Collin County District Attorney Greg Willis. The case drew widespread public outrage, as evidenced by online petitions like this one on ForceChange. Sign this petition to express your support for this decision, which demonstrates that animal cruelty will not be tolerated.
Andrew Callaway has been sentenced to spend 12 years in prison for having beaten and stomped a boxer puppy named Diesel so violently that he had to be euthanized. Both of Diesel’s hips and legs were severely fractured. Veterinarians had hoped to save his life by performing a series of operations, but ultimately the decision was made to humanely end his suffering.
While sending Callaway to prison will not bring back this innocent animal’s life, it is an important signal to other would-be abusers that such acts of savagery are not without consequence. Sign this petition to thank the district attorney in this case for seeking the harshest possible penalty.
PETITION LETTER:
Dear District Attorney Willis,
As you are aware, a puppy was subjected to a cruel and untimely death after a Wylie area man named Andrew Callaway threw him against the wall and stomped him to death, crushing the lower half of his body. This horrendous crime sent shock waves of grief and outrage throughout the community and worldwide. While there is no punishment severe enough to right this awful wrong, your decision to seek the harshest possible sentence for Mr. Callaway was the best way to ensure that justice would be served.
The fact that Callaway has been found guilty and will now spend the next 12 years in prison not only means that he will be unable to cause harm to any animals during this time, it also sends an important message to other would-be animal abusers. We, the undersigned, want to thank you for making sure that this act of extreme cruelty did not go unpunished.
Sincerely,
[Your Name Here]

Thank You Judge for doing the right thing in sending this low-life sub-human to prison. All Judges need to give severe punishment for cruel acts of violence against helpless innocent animals. We HAVE to be their voices.
I AGREE..this is a big red flag..alot of serial killers start out this way..But i would like to the why people harm animals..there is an underlining cause..red flag..?
l am so pleased that at last a cruelty such as this one is getting a punishment almost deserving of the crime. An eye for an eye,a tooth for a tooth,is what I would have been happier with. This monster deserves the death penalty as he gave it to a sweet little puppy, that had no one to stand up for it.My heart breaks for this little soul, what it must have suffered.
That is wonderful news. It’s about time a sick animal abuser is properly punished! It won’t bring this poor puppy back but thank you judge for locking this POS up for 12 yrs.
Hooray! It’s about time for a penalty with some meat in it! I’ve always said the only way animal abuse will EVER be stopped is if there are penalties so strict, they will choose to never repeat an abuse. So important that the word get out that sentences of good length (12 years is super), maybe a hefty fine to go with it to prevent anyone attempting abuse. EXTREMELY important, from this day forward, those sentences be WELL KNOWN, prohibitive, commonplace so there’s no doubt, animal abuse is not what anyone wants to do. NO MORE SLAP ON THE HAND, JUDGES!
This is fantastic news! This offender needs to serve his maximum penalty. No time off or reduced sentance for ANY reason. He deserved what he got and honestly in reality it isn’t enough.
Eye for an eye for this subhuman piece of crap…jail is to good for him….evil to he who doth evil
Thanks Mr. Willis for making the absolute right decision!!! It means that this little darling did not suffer and die in vain.
We need need many more outcomes of animal abuse and murder like this one!!!
Again thank you.
Please….no chance of parole……he needs to serve the full 12 years!!!!
Rest in peace sweet angel
This judge is an example for very state and country to follow his example.Thats the sentence every person should get for abusing animals. What in god name would posess anyone to do such an evil evil thing to an innocent animal. He will rot in hell for this and hopefully for the rest of his pathetic life.
EYE FOR AN EYE!
Awesome news…and hopefully he’ll get the living shit beaten out of him every day!
Thank you Judge, even though this precious dog is gone, sad, this so called man will not hurt another animal, justice served!
great judge who gave the right sentence to a dangerous criminal, who later could have attack humans too in a frantic rage, hope he will learn whats wrong with him in jail, plenty of time to thing & be see that poor puppy dying in his dreams
Such great news, wonderful!!
I AM SO HAPPY WITH THIS NEWS ….I CANNOT EXPRESS HOW MUCH.
THANK YOU GOD AND THANK YOU JUDGE. LITTLE DIESEL IN NOW IN HEAVEN WITH A GREAT REST OF LIFE. I HOPE THE BASTARD GETS STOMPED TO DEATH IN PRISON JUST BEFORE GETTING RELEASED!!
Thank You to the Judge who had the common sense to punish this man as he should be. You may have also prevented a future death of a human at the hands of this monster !
Thank you so much for sentencing so harshly…this monster so deserves this sentence….I wish EVERY JUDGE WAS LIKE YOU…..You are so deserving of everything good because you are a stand up person and just did what was right….Thank you, Thank you, Thank you…can’t say it enough..RIP sweet puppy you deserved better, at least you had a good judge hear your case.
Thank you to the judge who clearly saw this poor animal’s life as more than just an object of personal property that a human destroyed. This was a living being, whose lifespan was probably close to 12yrs, which when taken at the hands of an abuser, seems worthy of the equivalent 12yr sentencing at the hands of the judge. Don’t abuse animals.
I can only hope that while he is in prison he gets his head stomped in by the biggest baddest inmate there.
YES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! We need a LOT more judges like him !!!
Thank God and THANK THAT JUDGE!!! We need stiff penalties for these types of crimes.,
Once again. I Want to thank the judge had the Courage to give him a sentence he absolutely deserved
Thank you for the good news. I’m so glad this lowlife is off the streets!
