Cat Mutilated and Poisoned: Demand Investigation

Target: Joe Chow Yat-ming, Commissioner of Police, Hong Kong

Goal: Identify and prosecute individual responsible for mutilating and poisoning a domestic cat, causing catastrophic injuries and death.

A deeply disturbing animal cruelty investigation intensified after a two-year-old cat returned to a funeral parlor suffering from catastrophic injuries in Hong Kong. According to statements provided to police, the cat had briefly wandered into a nearby alleyway before returning with its tail severed by an unidentified individual.

Shortly afterward, the animal began displaying symptoms consistent with toxic ingestion and later died from the injuries. Law enforcement officers responded to the scene and conducted an evidence sweep while forensic veterinarians began toxicology examinations to determine the possible poison involved. Authorities have classified the incident as a suspected severe animal cruelty case.

Animal welfare advocates argue that extreme violence against animals may indicate broader psychological instability and possible danger to surrounding communities. People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals Asiaoffered a financial reward for information leading to an arrest. Investigators continue reviewing evidence and interviewing witnesses while attempting to identify the person responsible.

PETITION LETTER:

A cat was mutilated and poisoned after briefly wandering outside a funeral parlor. Investigators discovered that the animal returned suffering from severe injuries before later dying from suspected toxic exposure.

We urge your department to continue pursuing all investigative leads and prosecute any individuals found responsible for this alleged mutilation and poisoning case.

Sincerely,
