Dog Reportedly Nailed to Board and Used as Warning Deserves Justice

Target: White County Prosecuting Attorney, Rebecca Reed McCoy

Goal: Prosecute and hold accountable those allegedly involved in the brutal, inhumane treatment of a dog.

In White County, Arkansas, a distressing incident has reportedly occurred, shaking the community and animal advocates alike. Allegedly, a dog was found nailed to a wooden board, a shocking display of cruelty that has horrified residents and officials. The message written on the board, “This is what happens to dogs dropped off here,” suggests a disturbing motive and intention behind this act. This appalling scene not only demands immediate attention but also cries out for justice and accountability.

Details of this incident are deeply unsettling. On Sunday, officials were alerted to the gruesome scene at Fairview Road and Panther Creek intersection. White County Sheriff Lt. Scott Seiders described the act of nailing a dog to a board and displaying it roadside as something that “shocks the conscience.” The sheriff’s office is investigating, having filed criminal charges against a suspect. However, the community seeks broader and more decisive action. The possible charges of animal cruelty and aggravated animal cruelty, though necessary, feel insufficient given the alleged heinousness of the act.

This distressing case highlights a pressing need for stringent legal measures against animal cruelty in White County. This horrific display of alleged animal abuse should catalyze a firm response from legal authorities. Demand that those allegedly involved be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law.

PETITION LETTER:

Dear Governor Lee,

We write to you deeply disturbed by the recent incident in White County, where a dog was reportedly found nailed to a wooden board in a shocking act of cruelty. This incident, beyond its inherently disturbing nature, raises serious concerns about animal welfare and safety in the community. The details, as reported, suggest a level of brutality that is unacceptable and demands legal action. We urge you to take this case seriously and ensure that justice is served for the innocent animal that suffered in this alleged act.

The act, as described by officials and witnesses, is not only cruel but also indicative of a larger problem of animal neglect and abuse in the area. The fact that there is no humane society or animal shelter in the county exacerbates this issue. It is crucial that the legal system responds with appropriate severity to such alleged acts of cruelty. This will send a clear message that such behavior will not be tolerated and that animal welfare is a priority in White County. We implore you to consider the emotional impact of this case on the community and the precedent it sets for handling animal abuse cases.

In light of these disturbing allegations, we demand that those allegedly responsible be prosecuted to the fullest extent possible under the law. This incident should also prompt a review of local animal welfare laws and resources, ensuring that future incidents are prevented. We trust that you will take all necessary steps to see justice served in this case and work towards better protection for animals in White County.

Sincerely,

[Your Name Here]

  1. The person (s) who did this should have the same done to them…as a warning….to anyone who abuses an animal!!!!!!!!!!

To say this unimaginable cruelty is disturbing is the understatement of a lifetime. The other unimaginable truth of this (and most others) is the need for nationwide outcry before our lovely “Justice System” bats an eye in the direction of the very guilty offender. If y’all are so against holding these violent officers accountable you should do the time for them because at that point you’re as guilty as the garbage who’s crime you’re protecting. Smh

This gruesome act upon an innocent animal is deeply demonic. This individual (s) should be prosecuted stiffly. Cease the slap on the hand and-if it were another country who practices the biblical passage of “an eye for an eye and tooth for a tooth” – this person should be dealt the same as he’s done to others, human and animal kind. Lock him up and throw away the key. This madness will continue until the officials pass very strict laws and accountability for these grotesque actions.

Find the piece of garbage that did this to a poor defenseless dog and euthanize them immediately.

    • This one really angered me to my core. What kind of vicious monster does this to a poor, defenseless animal?? As I was reading the story I noticed that the Governor of Arkansas was mentioned. But the name was incorrect. The Governor of Arkansas is Sarah Huckabee Sanders.I watch Fox News quite a bit and she and her dad Mike Huckabee are on there from time to time. But the story said Governor Lee. So then I was thinking that maybe this was an old story, so I googled White County Arkansas and found the actual news video, which was from a few days ago. So I guess they just had the Governor’s name wrong. Anyway the news video showed the Sheriff talking about the case and how horrific and upsetting it was. But the news reporter that was at the scene said this guy showed up while she was there and admitted he was the one who nailed the dog to the sign. He then said he felt bad about it but he just didn’t know what else to do. Because people were always dropping dogs in that area.
I thought to myself ‘you didn’t know what else to do besides nailing the dog to a sign?? I think word of mouth made it’s way back to him and he knew he was gonna get busted for it, so he fessed up first! Probably just be a slap on the wrist and a fine though. That county doesn’t even have an animal shelter or rescue of any kind! So the stray dogs and cats in White County Arkansas most likely end up in a sad, sorrowful state. But I thought I’d pass on the info that I found. The charges according to the Sheriff would be animal cruelty and another harsher charge of animal cruelty, due to the despicable nature of the crime against that precious dog. I can think of a number of ways the monster should be punished but I’m not going to list them here. Karma will take care of him eventually.

  5. this despicable human needs to be found in torture in the worst fucking way until they die

  6. Nadine Brundage says:

Whoever committed this horrific cruelty should be found and placed in the nearest mental institution. No normal person commits such evil.

  7. Maria Nowicki says:

Do the same to this worthless piece of human garbage and let it rot to death!

  8. Carey Sutton says:

Find them and KILl them!!!!!!!!!!! Nothing less!!!!!!!

  9. I believe that animal abusers when caught .. should have EVERY BONE in their body BROKEN. Wait for them to heal (while the POS is .. they can sit in a prison cell making new friends with their cell mates). Once the fucker is healed BREAK THEM ALL AGAIN.
Then just keep on doing that

  10. Wow, welcome to Arkansas. Poor little sweetheart….if no one has to face consequences, this will keep happening.

  11. Demon possessed people are full of hatred & cruelty…

  12. Of people in the south are such Bible thumpers then “an eye for an eye” is appropriate here. Nail that POS!! Did the dog survive? Makes me so pissed and sad at the same time.

  13. This is disgusting. I don’t care what kind of mental disorder you have, you DONT TAKE IT OUT ON FURRY CREATURES. Or anyone, for that matter.
If you don’t want animals around, well, deal with it. That’s life. I deal with things I don’t want to deal with EVERYDAY but I don’t nail living creatures to a board to prove my point. I DEAL WITH IT.
I hope they rot in jail.

  14. Stella Waldvogel says:

If the dog was alive when he did it, he crucified that dog.

  15. Put a big stake thru there heart to take their life away. They don’t deserve to be able too breathe

  16. THIS IS AN OUTRAGE. PROSECUTE THOSE RESPONSIBLE TO THE FULL EXTENT OF THE LAW AND HOPEFULLY SOMEONE WILL CRUCIFY THIS BASTARD BY NAILING THEM TO A BOARD. ANYONE WHO ABUSES ANIMALS SHOULD BE PUNISHED BY THE SAME MEANS THAT THEY PERPETRATED THE CRIMES.AN EYE FOR AN EYE. THESE PEOPLE DESERVE THE SAME FATE.THEY MUST ENDURE THE SAME PAIN THAT THESE INNOCENT ANIMALS HAD TO ENDURE AT THE HANDS OF THESE DERANGED LUNATICS.

  17. Garlina Norris says:

No doubt another male that committed this heinous act. Poor little pup. I want to say that MEN are now so violent, full of rage, anger, hate and murder and rape. It’s sickening. Why don’t they go to Gaza! Go for it Dudes

  18. WHAT THE EVER-LOVING FUCK HAPPENED IN THIS WORTHLESS HEAP OF SHIT’S LIFE TO MAKE HIM TURN OUT THE WAY HE DID?!?!!?! WHATEVER THE FUCK IT IS, IT SHOULDN’T MATTER. NAIL HIS ASS TO A BOARD AND ATTACH CEMENT BLOCKS TO IT, HAUL IT OUT TO THE DEEPEST PART OF THE ATLANTIC, AND HURL HIS UGLY ASS IN.

  19. This is so horrific and disgusting. The filth who did this deserves the same treatment!!

  20. Dennis Busto says:

ABSOLUTELY NO TOLERANCE TOWARDS ANIMAL ABUSE N CRUELTY. NONE… FRY THE POS. PAWS MATTER 🐾
