This animal abuse has to stop. Animals too, have feelings and need to have their space.
A few years ago we lived in Southern Utah and there was a ‘feed lot’ just down around the corner, every time we had to shop or go some place we went past this horrific ‘lot’. The animals were crammed in to small fenced off portions of mud and muck. There was no shade, even at 115 degrees, the animals would try to stand in their own shadows to escape the heat. The place smelled like death, urine, feces, horrible. The owners would turn an overhead sprinkler on about once a week in the hot summer for a few minutes, long enough to soak the wet the ground and then the animals would drink the pools of water in the pen! Picture that in your beef. Worse, right next to these pens were open fields of green grass; deliberate torture in my opinion. These pits of disease and despair should all be closed, it was inhumane and unhealthy for us and the animals.
These “farms” are animal torture. You CAN lead on this issue and legislators CAN help drive industry standards. Consumers are demanding someone do something. Farmers can make a profit without torturing cows, pigs, chickens etc. OTHER WESTERN DEMOCRACIES have successfully accomplished this. The beef industry in particular is failing, in no small part because more and more Americans are disgusted by commercial farms. It isn’t just about health concerns. Humane farming is a win/win for everyone. Please LEAD on this issue.

These places exist because the milk marketing board has done a good job of having people believe that drinking milk is essential for your health. It’s not. Also 30 years ago meat was a dinnertime thing. Now it’s a four times a day thing. Bacon for breakfast, cold cuts for lunch, massive amounts of meat for dinner and some sort of snack in the evening usually involving meat. If you can’t do vegan try vegetarian or at least cutting back on meat consumption. Every little helps.
I am not one to tell people what to do but only way this will stop is to stop eating meat. It was very tough for me but i did it. And milk? Detest it. Not bought milk for nearly 20 years.
Why can’t these innocent animals be free from living their life in hell caused by uncaring, heartless, greedy humans. Mother Nature has a way of getting even and the way this world is going she’s already started. Stop and think about it, animals should be treated humanely.
Greedy nasty humans exactly. These pieces of shite work ( if it can actually be classed as work) amongst these animals so they can take out their ‘hard man’ acts on innocent animals.
But only because they know there will be no repercussions and these bastards get away with it.
Unfortunately animal breeding for food (meat) has been going on for decades, no doubt centuries and the majority of sick minded tossers who work – if it can be classed as work? In these slaughter ( murder) houses really enjoy it as they can torture and abuse these innocent animals with no repercussions. Bastards all of them.
I had to deliver to a so-called chicken farm once — not really a farm but where they were terminated. Hooked upside down on a moving conveyor belt were then dipped down into an electrified water trough that supposedly electrocuted them.
These birds knew what was going to happen as some would try to raise their heads to miss this ‘killing trough’.
Some managed this but then were ‘flayed alive’ having their feathers ripped out of them by the automated plucking machine to then have their throats cut by a team of bastards further down the line whilst STILL ALIVE!!
Just one instance of animal (bird ) murder that is happening all over the world.
Unless there is a mass human revolt animal murder is going to continue and flourish.
Cannot see any other way as animals are bred for consumption and just pieces of meat on supermarket shelves!
The only other way is, stop eating DEAD MURDERED animals.
But looking at the situation today, this is never going to happen.
STOP EATING DEAD ANIMALS. STOP THE TORTURE!!
This is the only way to stop this abuse and torture.

The tragedy is that farm animals are subjected to animal cruelty each and every day of their short lived miserable man made existence. The people that own, work and buy any of the products produced from these farms DO NOT SEE OR CHOOSE NOT TO SEE THE MISERY!
A tide turning solution would be to stop eating MEAT and drinking MILK!
Legislation must be passed, that enforces the ethical treatment of all animals with substantial legal consequences, transparency and monitoring.

Today’s facts state that one elephant is murdered every fifteen minutes in the vast jungles.
These bastard poachers are equipped with chainsaws to saw out the tusks many times when the wounded animal is still alive!! More efficient and quicker than using an axe!!

I support this Petition and agree that more needs to be done.
I agree on everything EXCEPT for the bogus narrative of “greenhouse gas emissions” from animals causing undue harm to the planet. THAT part is nothing but contrived delusion! And everyone need also realize that how these poor nonhuman animals are forced to live in close confinement for their entire lives, is ALSO what the powers that shouldn’t be plan for *humans* as well (we’re ‘just like cattle’ to them), if WE ourselves allow that to happen. So we must stop this horrendous, basic mindset at all costs, for the sake of ALL life!
Why do you imprison animals!? Animals are not criminals to be confined their entire lives. Animals are sentient beings just like humans, and have complex psychological needs.
Eating meat, dairy and eggs is based on maximum animal exploitation and torture. Billions of animals are killed every day, globally, for human consumption.

If you have ever traveled to a “red” state or if you are familiar with conservative practices you will clearly see the difference between common procedure than in the “blue” less conservative states. If or when you ‘try’ to talk to farmers, ranchers, country townsfolk you will notice that the mindset is whatever is “best for people” as opposed to whatever is “best for animals.” Many many people believe that animals were put here to feed us. It is almost impossible to change their opinion. Humane people that are from states where animals are treated better are not used to this thinking. You can’t change peoples’ minds unless you present them with more viable options that are: less expensive, more easily accessible, and healthier. When you live in small town in the Midwest where all there might be is a Dollar General and a small grocery market there are little to no options to shop for meat alternatives. There are still a lot of people who aren’t able to or choose not to shop for protein online. Hardcore passionate vegans need to own and operate vegan dollar stores EVERY WHERE ! That’s how you make this cruelty stop once and for good. It’s just supply meeting demand, and it’s just wrong.
