Target: Morrow County Sheriff, John L. Hinton
Goal: Find and capture the person(s) responsible for attacking and killing two horses.
One horse was found dead in a field and another was found writhing in pain. Both horses had puncture wounds above their right eyes. When the owner of the farm in North Bloomfield Township, Ohio, discovered his horses in this condition, he notified authorities. Unfortunately, the injured horse was deemed mortally injured and was euthanized.
The Morrow County Sheriff’s Office believes the animals were intentionally targeted for attack. However, authorities have not yet released any additional information regarding clues or leads in this case.
When it comes to attacks on animals, horses tend to be exceptionally vulnerable, since they often live in barns that are not attached to their owners’ homes. Because of this, intruders can have an easier time executing a secret attack. As a result, authorities must devote more resources to investigating and prosecuting these types of crimes.

I so agree with you. Punishment for crimes of animal abuse should be much more severe, always investigated, and enforced. In addition, strong and very costly punishment should be enforced for trespassing on private property, and public, state land.

The “so called” justice system never will hand out justce for the despicable torment that these helpless horses suffered. It is hard to comprehend anyone doing such a vile act. Such cruelty is appalling. I hope they find who did this to these two beautiful horses and that they are severely punished.

It’s a shame, but animals in slaughterhouses are treated in this manner But no one seems to care about them because some people still like to have flush on their plates.

Horses bring so much peace and joy to their owners and I can only imagine how distraught the owner of these beautiful horses must be. I just hope law enforcement makes extraordinary efforts to find the psychopath who did this.
