Buddy—a mini Australian shepherd—was discovered with his neck slashed. The fatal tragedy did not end with the dog’s death, however. Buddy had also been filleted and skinned across nearly his entire body. According to the heartbroken pet parent of Buddy, the 12-year-old canine had been killed in a manner consistent with a human hunter.
Authorities eventually ruled out a link between Buddy’s brutal assault and the slayings of the University of Idaho students nearby, who were also killed via a knife. But this case of unimaginable cruelty cannot and should not be forgotten. Sign the petition below to urge authorities to remain vigilant in pursuing this clear and present danger as well.

Dear Chief Fry,
The murders of four students are rightfully at the center of current investigative efforts, but please do not let another incident of horrific violence—the killing and skinning of pet dog Buddy—slip through the cracks. While the public does not know how you determined the two incidents were unrelated, your conclusions should be believed. Yet the unknown animal cruelty attacker still poses a dangerous threat.
You are likely aware that some of the most sadistic killers see the torture and murder of animals as a stepping-stone. These disturbed individuals must be stopped before they escalate and before they take more innocent lives, animal or human. Prevent another menace from roaming the streets by keeping Buddy’s case as a top investigative priority.

This was without doubt a sadistic crime against this dog. We are talking about a very violent and disturbed individual walking the streets who poses a threat to both humans and animals. This crime should be investigated to the fullest to help capture this deranged individual.
This insanity cannot be left on the loose. Find this devil & remove it from the face of the earth. It will also seek out any life form, including humans, & torture them if it hasn’t done so already. Prison is not an option.

Its not enough to just remove it from the face of the earth but rather to have done to it what he did to its poor victim, Buddy, may he rest well and in peace, we’re so very very sorry for your very precious loss and we too send our deepest condolences, we can’t imagine your sadness & grief, and let this p.o.s. bleed out, wither in pain and agony and whether or not its still breathing who cares, now its removed from the face of the earth! This is indeed an extremely disturbing and cruel act of immeasurable violence. Buddy deserves justice for fact. Psychotic and disturbed psychopathic individuals should not be permitted to exist in civilized society let alone out in the wild. My heart aches for Buddy’s pet parents and the Idaho students families as these murders connection should not be ignored. These types of sadistic acts of cruelty toward animals has been proven to lead to a propensity of physical cruelty and abuse against children and people.

Fish, chicken, turkey, cows, pigs are always killed in horrific ways and then skinned and filleted. Some are not stunned nor killed when they are skinned. Whoever did this to Buddy should have the same thing done to them. My heart goes out to Buddy’s owner–no one should have to lose their pet in such a horrific manner, and no animal should have to suffer such a horrible fate as this. I’m so sorry to hear the horrific abuse and cruelty Buddy suffered. As a pet parent, my sympathies go to Buddy’s parent. Whoever inflicted this pain and suffering on Buddy is a sadistic, barbaric piece of slim. This person needs to be caught ASAP and severely punished, because other animals and possibly people are in danger. RIP Buddy and I hope you get justice.

Just curious. How many people on this site that are calling for this piece of shit to be skinned alive would be willing to come up with money for a defense fund for the individual who carried out this skinning and execution? Very, very few I would imagine. They always want someone else to take out the person responsible for this atrocity but then wouldn’t be willing to come up with any money for a defense fund. So the guy that did it would most likely be spending the rest of his life in prison for 1st degree murder. Then people could come back on this site and say, “hey, we took care of the problem”. No, “You” didn’t take care of the problem. Someone with real guts took care of the problem and now “You” would be wanting to come on this site and take the credit for getting rid of the sonofabitch, when in reality, “You” didn’t do a damn thing but talk big while someone else took care of the problem.
