Goal: Stop the abuse reportedly going on at Krabloonik dog sledding facility.
A dog was allegedly abused at the Krabloonik dog sledding facility. In a six-minute video, a man, seemingly identified as Paul Staples, appears to hit, stomp on, and slam a dog into the ground. Currently, an arrest warrant is waiting to be approved in which Staples would be possibly facing misdemeanor animal abuse charges. There is an open investigation into the video and the facility itself.
Two former employees have come forward to say the facility does not treat its dogs right. They allege that the animals are not able to run free in the summer, a nd are mostly confined to leashes during off seasons.
Let the dogs run free and do not subject them to the alleged neglect and cruelty of the facility. Sign below and demand the immediate firing of all employees that are found to be abusing dogs in their care.

Dear Gina and Danny Phillips,
The alleged abuse taking place at your dog sledding facility needs to be stopped. The video of Nikolai seemingly being abused by an employee is damning evidence. No animals deserve such terrible treatment. The dogs at your facility deserve to be free during winter and summer. They should not be confined to leashes for a long amount of time as former employees have reported.
We demand freedom and safety for the dogs at the Krabloonik Dog Sledding.

All dog racing and the abusing facilities involved should be shut down completely and permanently, It only continues to exist for human greed and entertainment,certainly not for animal welfare and well being. These poor dogs are treated as inanimate objects rather than living beings. They are forced into this torturous existence and deprived off an actual life. With the employee witnesses and video of abuse and poor treatment @ this horrible facility, that should be enough for FELONY animal abuse charges, with facility closure and mandatory jail time for the abusers, along with a permanent ban for all the abusers from ever being allowed around another animal in their lifetime, to ensure this is no recurrence!

All dog sledding races need to be ended. This started as race by brave dogs and people to save lives. Now it’s only about money. You need only look at the dogs in these races. They are no longer husky type breeds but skinny things who can run but not made for the weather they have to run in. PEOPLE STOP GOING ON THESE SLEDDING DAYS OUT FOR FUN.

If you are in an animal business and don’t care enough about them to ensure their health, safety and happiness then you certainly don’t need to be in an animal business. He must be charged with many animal cruelty felonies, not just one misdemeanor charge. That place must be thoroughly investigated. All dogs and any other animals must be removed from that place, and taken to a safe facility somewhere else so the dogs can be adopted out to loving forever homes. The dogs must be able to be just dogs, not sled dogs. That place must be shut down and that business owner be banned for life from owning, working with, or going near any animals ever again. The business owner must serve 20 years in prison with no early parole, and pay a $500,000 fine. Real justice would be if the owner was executed.

I’m so sorry about the abuse Nikolai suffered at the hands of Paul Staples. He needs to be fired and charged with felony cruelty to animals. I hope Nikolai and the other dogs who were abused recover and get justice. Gina and Danny Philips also need to press charges against Paul Staples and anyone else who abuses those dogs. When those dogs are not sledding, they need to be allowed to run, exercise and have fun, not be confined. Furthermore, I think dog sledding should be outlawed because the dogs are exploited and abused.

To Gina and Danny Phillips, As owners of Krabloonik Dog Sledding operation IT IS UP TO YOU TO MAKE SURE ALL ANIMALS YOU ARE “USING” ARE TREATED WELL AND KEPT SAFE. After all, as I stated above, you ARE USING LIVING CREATURES TO MAKE YOUR MONEY. At the very least don’t hire trash or psychopaths to be around them. Shame on you, your city and your state if this is left unaddressed.

Agree with every comment above. Animals deserve better treatment if they are used for a business. They are living, breathing beings that need to be fed well, have a decent shelter and not abused. This business should be shut down if the employees can’t treat the dogs in a better manner.
Well, well, well, the truth about the cruelty surrounding dog sledding is finally coming to light. A misdemeanor charge is far too light for this type of abuse though. Let’s strive for tougher laws, so scumbags like these, don’t get away with it.
