Bulls Allegedly Forced Into Violent Public Fights for Entertainment: Seek Justice

Target: S. M. Tariq, Director General of Police, Goa Police, Panaji, India

Goal: Ensure that all individuals allegedly involved in staging and promoting public bull fights that caused severe stress and injuries to animals face the strongest lawful consequences and that the animals receive lasting protection.

Authorities registered a criminal case after investigators allegedly gathered evidence of a public animal fighting event conducted for entertainment before a crowd. According to official reports, organizers encouraged two large bulls to engage in violent physical combat in an open field setting.

The allegations indicate that the animals endured severe physical stress and sustained traumatic injuries and lacerations during the event. Investigators treated the incident as a potential violation of multiple provisions under animal protection law. Police also initiated action involving notices to animal owners and requested administrative intervention concerning the animals’ custody and protection.

Animal fighting carried out as spectacle can normalize cruelty and expose animals to unnecessary suffering. Legal proceedings remain active and authorities are still collecting evidence. If the allegations are ultimately substantiated, appropriate penalties and preventive measures are necessary to send a clear message that organized animal cruelty should not be tolerated.

PETITION LETTER:

Dear DGP Tariq,

Reports indicate that police uncovered an organized public event in which two bulls were induced into physical combat for entertainment purposes. Authorities further reportedly gathered evidence suggesting that spectators may have assembled while the animals endured significant distress.

According to official accounts, the bulls suffered severe physical strain and sustained injuries during the confrontation. Police initiated legal action and administrative steps while continuing to collect evidence and evaluate responsibility among all involved parties.

We respectfully urge your office to ensure a thorough and timely investigation and to pursue the strongest lawful action against any individuals ultimately found legally responsible. We also ask that measures be taken to protect the animals involved and deter any future alleged organization of animal fighting events.

Sincerely,

[Your Name Here]
