Shut Down Breeding Facility Where Puppies Allegedly Died Without Vet Care

Target: Phil Archer, State Attorney for Brevard and Seminole Counties, Florida

Goal: Implement rigorous legal action to protect animals at a dog breeding facility.

Reports have surfaced suggesting grave mismanagement at a Seminole County dog breeding facility, owned by Vera Clark, leading to multiple puppy deaths. Allegedly, Clark self-diagnosed and treated sick puppies without veterinary consultation, attributing their deaths to “fading puppy syndrome” and “failure to thrive.” These serious accusations highlight a potentially widespread neglect, emphasizing the urgent need for thorough investigation and legal accountability.

Further investigations by county officials reportedly uncovered additional disturbing practices at the facility, including the use of expired and inappropriate medications on dogs, lack of necessary health and rabies certificates, and insufficient isolation for sick animals. Allegedly, approximately 70 dogs, including young puppies and pregnant mothers, were kept in these substandard conditions, raising significant animal welfare concerns.

The necessity of this petition arises from the alleged continuous suffering and mistreatment of animals under Clark’s care. This facility’s reported practices not only compromise animal health but also undermine public trust in breeding operations. Demand immediate and decisive legal action to prevent any further animal suffering and to ensure such neglect does not go unchecked.

PETITION LETTER:

Dear State Attorney Phil Archer,

We are deeply concerned about the alleged ongoing neglect and mismanagement at a dog breeding facility operated by Vera Clark in Seminole County. Reports claim that the lack of appropriate medical care has resulted in the deaths of several puppies, and ongoing neglect may be affecting many more animals under her care. This situation reportedly includes the misuse of medications and a lack of necessary veterinary documentation, which could indicate a broader pattern of inadequate animal welfare practices.

Additionally, the conditions described by investigators and former employees suggest a severe decline in care standards, purportedly due to financial struggles and mismanagement by Ms. Clark. These allegations, if true, are unacceptable and demand your immediate attention to ensure that no more animals suffer under similar circumstances. The well-being of these animals must be a priority, and we urge you to consider these claims seriously and act accordingly.

In conclusion, we respectfully demand that your office take swift and forceful action against the alleged malpractices at this facility. A thorough investigation and strict legal measures are imperative to address and rectify the situation, ensuring the safety and well-being of all animals involved. Please hold those responsible accountable to prevent further harm and promote a higher standard of care within the breeding industry.

Sincerely,

  1. A licensed facility breeding puppies. This is not fading puppy syndrome, it’s murder! This woman only cares about selling the puppies as that is the way she makes a living. But then use a vet and have the puppies seen by the vet as the first order of business. I live in Florida and in the county named. Florida is not a caring state. Florida cares only for politics. Where did the people go who cared about others, cared about the earth and were decent human beings. They don’t live here any more. States are different thus can not always serve the same sentences as reflected by the crimes committed. We need Federal Oversight or the idiots will keep killing animals for entertainment. These people are mentally compromised.

  2. holy christ almost ever story on this current page happened in florida. what the hell are these people doing there. that state is like a sanctuary for animal abusers.
