Millbrook police are investigating, and they have asked for the public’s help. The Russo family is offering a $1,000 reward for any information leading to the arrest and conviction of the person responsible for Cinder’s death. Sign below and demand that this cruel person be identified, charged, and assigned the maximum penalty by law.

PETITION LETTER:

Dear Prosecutor Houston,

A kitten was shot twice in a shocking act of animal cruelty. The kitten, a birthday gift for a 12-year-old girl, eventually died from his injuries. We demand justice for this poor kitten.

Millbrook police are investigating after a 10-month-old kitten was shot and killed. The indoor kitten, named Cinder, escaped from his home and was later found in the backyard with two bullet wounds. Adam Russo, Cinder’s owner, rushed him to the veterinarian for treatment, but they were unable to save Cinder. Russo’s daughter was heartbroken at the loss of her kitten. The person responsible for this cruelty is still at large. Russo has offered a reward for any information that could lead to the arrest and conviction of the shooter. If convicted, the shooter could face jail time.

This person is a danger to animals and must be punished. We demand that you seek the maximum penalty in this case.

Sincerely,

  11. Justice needs to be served there needs to be severe punishment for anyone that hurts animals, we don’t need people like that on the streets. If a person can hurt an animal they are a danger to society, they lack empathy towards any life.

    • The trouble is that the laws to protect animals are practically non existent. There are a lot of animal haters in particular cat haters.I would like to have done to these people exactly what they did to the animals. They are sick cowards.A lot of people suck.Because the laws are poor practically nothing happens to these people if they are tracked down

  14. This is heart breaking to see such cruelty, this was someone’s pet, people who comment these horrible crimes to these helpless animal need to be accountable for there actions.

Dogs at Animal Welfare but needs rehabilitation from head trama & abuse left to die alone, locate and prosecute to full extent of law ,Please! Looks like golden lab mix dog! Thank you!

  18. We should have death penalty, and life in prison for these types of people who commit these crimes.

We should make examples of sick vile people and rid them from our society and planet.

If they do this to innocent babies, they will do this to weak defenseless and helpless people if they can get away it. They are disgusting cowards.

Statistics show if they do this to animals, weak humans/children are next if not already.

  19. That act saved allot of birds lives
