Stop Dog Fighters From Owning More Dogs

Target: Larry Harrah, Fayette County Prosecutor

Goal: Seek a lifetime ban from owning animals and the maximum possible punishment for animal cruelty convict who reportedly had multiple pit bulls with injuries consistent with forced animal fighting.

Over a dozen pit bull dogs were reportedly rescued from a man who has a prior conviction of animal cruelty. After receiving animal cruelty reports, officers searched the home of 36-year-old William Kincaid and found a total of 14 pit bulls, four of them were still puppies. One of the dogs had been hidden in a garage, police say. Among the items found in Kincaid’s possession, according to police, included a “breaking stick” with fresh blood on it, as well as other items commonly found in dog fighting training.

The dogs were taken to a veterinarian who confirmed that the injuries on their bodies were consistent with forced animal fighting. Kincaid was convicted of animal cruelty for fighting dogs in 2012, and he was banned from owning animals, then was convicted just last year of illegal ownership. He has already been allowed to get out on bail. It seems the authorities aren’t taking animal cruelty seriously or else this repeat offender would’ve never been allowed to keep harming animals. Kincaid was charged with multiple counts of animal cruelty, illegal possession of dogs, and failure to register a dog or kennel. Please add your signature to the petition below demanding that the authorities take charge once and for all and stop allowing this repeat offender to hurt innocent animals.

PETITION LETTER:

Dear Mr. Harrah,

Over a dozen pit bulls, including puppies, were reportedly found in the home of a man with a prior conviction of animal cruelty. According to the veterinarian who treated them, the animals had injuries that were consistent with forced animal fighting. William Kincaid had been convicted of animal cruelty back in 2012, and just last year he was convicted of going against the law again by illegally owning animals.

We, the undersigned, are calling on you to put a stop to this sick cruelty once and for all. Please see to it that this man is never allowed to harm any more innocent animals by seeking the maximum punishment and a lifetime ban from owning animals.

Sincerely,

    This POS needs punished, SEVERELY!
Tell him to leave animals out of his money-making schemes!!!

  2. You need to put this monster away where the sun don’t shine. Throw the book at the cruel, unfeeling low life. This is not his first offence and won’t be his last unless you put a stop to him once and for all. He will be part of a dog fighting ring, a disgusting activity where these twisted cowards force dogs to fight each other by goading them. Why don’t the rotten ‘big brave men’ fight each other? we would soon see then who is brave then. The dogs suffer appalling injuries. Please show your disgust at this by giving him a punishment he won’t forget and at the same time send out a clear message to any other thugs thinking along the same lines. Thank you.

He won’t get what he deserves. The judicial system sucks!street justice is what would get the job done.

  3. It’s unbelievable that a man who has been TWICE convicted of animal abuse is allowed to own more dogs. The picture accompanying this petition showing a white pitbull that has been starved to the point of extreme starvation should be enough to prove that this cruel, sadistic person should not only be in jail, but should NEVER own any animal again. I don’t understand anyone who could do this to a dog, nor can I understand anyone in a position of authority not taking immediate action to rescue this dog and any others who have been viciously abused.

We put up with this garbage all the time because evidently being “human” takes on some kind of god-like importance and therefore human life is sacrosanct no matter what kind of crimes they commit – especially when it comes to animals!!! Punish these sick excuses for human beings??? Really??? Who’s kidding who? Society needs to be rid of these bastards permanently – whether by prison (if we want to support this garbage for the rest of their lives) or whatever. Personally I would like to see “whatever” come into play more often than not – – –

  8. darcy majus says:

When will someone take this seriously?? My God, you see the effects on these dogs and the suffering – isn’t that enough? Put these evil bastards in jail so we don’t have to waste our time with these low-life’s anymore!

These dogs suffer at the hands of cruel, heartless and selfish people. Give these owners what they deserve and make a stand so this comes to and end once and for all.

  9. Selena Brooks says:

The maximum punishment is needed for this idiot for his disgusting treatment of animals. STOP HIM and give justice to the innocent animals who were nothing but cash in his greedy pocket

  10. Next step murder.

I wouldn’t let those monsters have children, much less another dog.

  11. Wendy Morrison says:

Put this stupid jackas$ in a ring and make him fight others repeatedly before throwing what is left of hom into prison for the rest of his life!

  12. Put these assholes in a cage and make them beat the shit out of each other. Give them bats and go at it.

  13. Cynthia Mattera says:

Enough is enough! Lock up this monster and never let him out. Seems he is not taking the charges very seriously, and by his LEAN punishment, looks like the judge is not taking what he is doing seriously!! Harsher punishments, jail time, and NEVER gain able to own any kind of animal!

  14. This is a NO-BRAINER! These are violent crimes and must be charged, prosecuted and sentenced as such! William Kincaid is a violent, dangerous man who should not be allowed to own another animal and should be banned from ever being within 100+ feet of another animal. The act of being involved in dog fighting demonstrates an inability to have empathy for other living beings, including humans. William Kincaid is a psychopath of the lowest form and a coward for the abuses, torture, and terrorism he has perpetuated on these dogs!

  15. Margaret Melnick says:

  19. Can you make a petition for which there is a law which holds animal abusers responsible ~ a felony of 5 years per animal abused and possibly more years based on the level of abuse?
As well as a proposal for a state/national database of convicted animal abusers and where they live and the abuse they perpetrated.
ANIMAL ABUSE IS A STEPPING STONE TO HUMAN ABUSE!!!!
Thank you very much and I truly hope you can work on that.
    Laura

  20. Rosslyn Osborne says:

I so agree Laura and Margaret M. There need to be far stiffer fines and jail time on all these felonies, but the slack judges need to implement them and stop pussy-footing around! They are dealing with psychopaths here that definitely move on to child and spousal abuse… so treat them as such the first time around and hopefully ‘knock’ it out of them with jail time and counselling.
This idiot is mocking you all!
There needs to be an Animal Abuse Registry that is available world wide for these perpetrators, please get to it today. Thank you.
