Neither a rescue label nor public outrage should decide a criminal case. Veterinary evidence, inspection findings, and financial records should. Support a prosecution that assesses every charge on its merits and protects the animals throughout proceedings. Urge prosecutors to seek meaningful penalties for any proven offenses and appropriate safeguards against further harm.

Please ensure the prosecution involving K9 Pet Army receives the preparation and continuity necessary for a fair resolution. The allegation that rescue dogs were subjected to severe neglect deserves close examination. The case also includes alleged fraud and noncompliance with bail conditions, which must be assessed separately against the available evidence.
We ask prosecutors to work with inspectors to organize veterinary records, document the alleged keeping conditions, and establish responsibility for each supported charge. Obtain relevant financial evidence for the alleged fraud without assuming that an animal welfare concern proves a financial offense. Equally, the existence of a criminal case should not interrupt appropriate monitoring and care for animals still needing protection.
Pursue supported charges and request substantial, proportionate penalties if the court finds guilt. Consider lawful restrictions on animal keeping where the evidence and outcome justify them. Rescue work requires accountability and fairness. The dogs deserve a case decided through reliable evidence, with their welfare treated as a continuing responsibility rather than an issue that ends at arrest.
