Inside the garage, investigators reportedly found the body of a severely emaciated husky lying on a floor covered with accumulated biological waste. Veterinary findings reportedly indicated the dog had experienced prolonged starvation before its death. Authorities allege the tenant had been the animal’s sole caretaker for approximately a year. Police arrested the tenant on a felony animal cruelty charge.
