Starving Buffaloes and Cows Allegedly Abandoned: Demand Prosecution

Target: Amit Pathak, Superintendent of Police, Amroha Police, Uttar Pradesh, India

Goal: Thoroughly prosecute case of seemingly abandoned and starving cattle found inside filthy, unventilated dairy enclosures.

A disturbing livestock cruelty investigation intensified after animal welfare inspectors and police officers raided a commercial dairy property in Amroha. Authorities allegedly discovered more than twenty buffaloes and cows confined inside dark, unventilated enclosures filled with deep waste and standing contaminated fluids.

Veterinary responders reportedly documented advanced starvation, visible ribs, open pressure sores and severe hoof rot among surviving animals. Investigators further alleged that the dairy operator abandoned the facility days earlier after multiple animals became chronically ill, leaving the livestock trapped without food or clean water. Emergency rescue teams later began fluid therapy and wound treatment for surviving cattle.

Police registered a criminal case under the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals Act while search teams continue attempting to locate the person allegedly responsible. Animal welfare advocates argue that prolonged confinement in such conditions may cause agonizing physical deterioration and preventable suffering for dependent livestock animals. If substantiated, these allegations would represent severe neglect and abandonment allegedly inflicted upon vulnerable animals unable to escape confinement.

PETITION LETTER:

Dear SP Pathak,

Authorities have made allegations involving buffaloes and cows abandoned inside dark and filthy dairy enclosures without adequate food or clean water.

Veterinary responders reportedly documented starvation, open sores and severe hoof infections while investigators searched for the individual allegedly connected to the reported neglect. If proven, the alleged conduct would represent prolonged suffering and severe cruelty allegedly inflicted upon defenseless livestock animals.

We urge your department to identify and prosecute any individuals found responsible for this alleged abandonment and neglect case.

Sincerely,

[Your Name Here]
