Target: Todd Williams, District Attorney, Buncombe County, North Carolina
Goal: Pursue maximum felony animal cruelty penalties against individuals accused of starving, dehydrating, and physically abusing dogs inside a boarding kennel.
A deeply disturbing criminal investigation intensified after four employees of the Inner Knowing Canine Connections boarding and training kennel were arrested on felony animal cruelty charges. Authorities launched the investigation following the suspicious deaths of two dogs that had reportedly been left in the facility’s care by pet owners.
Investigators allege the dogs were left severely starved and profoundly dehydrated inside the kennel before their deaths. Authorities also allege that Tiffany Dawn Jourdain physically abused dogs by striking them with a heavy metal bowl and repeatedly kicking and hitting animals with her hands. Investigators reportedly discovered evidence suggesting these alleged acts were recorded and used to instruct other employees on disciplining non-aggressive dogs.
Animal advocates expressed outrage over the reported conditions and mistreatment occurring inside a facility publicly trusted to provide professional care and training. Authorities arrested Brianne Michelle Hunt, Dianna Hope Hall, and Lillian Nichole Sparks in connection with the investigation while prosecutors continue reviewing evidence and preparing the case for court proceedings.
The suspects remain in the legal process awaiting arraignment, and no prosecution has been finalized. If substantiated, these allegations would represent severe cruelty, prolonged neglect, and shocking abuse of trust involving defenseless animals confined inside a commercial boarding facility.
PETITION LETTER:
Dear DA Williams,
Authorities have made allegations involving dogs allegedly starved, dehydrated, and physically abused inside a boarding and training kennel entrusted with companion animal care. Investigators reportedly linked the facility to the deaths of two dogs left in the kennel’s custody.
Criminal warrants further allege that employees physically struck dogs and recorded the reported abuse while using the footage to train additional workers. If proven, the alleged conduct would represent severe cruelty and prolonged suffering inflicted upon vulnerable animals unable to escape the facility.
We urge your office to pursue maximum felony prosecution against any individuals found responsible for these alleged acts of cruelty and neglect.
Sincerely,
[Your Name Here]
