Huskies Allegedly Abandoned in Extreme Heat: Demand Full Investigation

Target: C.V. Anand, Commissioner of Police, Hyderabad City Police, Telangana, India

Goal: Pursue criminal prosecution against individuals accused of abandoning Siberian Huskies in dangerous heat conditions without proper care.

A disturbing animal abandonment investigation began after several Siberian Huskies were reportedly discovered abandoned in rural areas outside Hyderabad. Two of the dogs were allegedly found tied beside cattle in unsuitable outdoor conditions after local villagers attempted to care for them without understanding the breed’s specialized needs. The rescued huskies were apparently suffering from dehydration, heat exhaustion, and severe distress caused by exposure to intense temperatures that are particularly dangerous for thick-coated Arctic breeds.

Investigators suspect the dogs may have been discarded by individuals unwilling or unable to continue paying for the breed’s expensive upkeep and medical care. Police registered a First Information Report against four individuals and are currently examining whether the premises where the dogs were housed were legally licensed for breeding or animal boarding. Animal welfare groups have since provided veterinary treatment and emergency rehabilitation for the rescued dogs.

If substantiated, these allegations would represent severe neglect and abandonment involving vulnerable companion animals placed in life-threatening environmental conditions. Strong legal action is necessary not only to ensure accountability but also to discourage irresponsible breeding and abandonment practices connected to the illegal pet trade.

PETITION LETTER:

Dear Commissioner Anand,

Authorities have reported that several Siberian Huskies were abandoned in dangerous outdoor conditions during extreme heat near Hyderabad. The rescued dogs were reportedly suffering from dehydration, exhaustion, and severe distress before intervention occurred.

Police are currently investigating whether the dogs were illegally bred or improperly housed before abandonment. If proven, the alleged conduct would represent reckless neglect that placed vulnerable animals in serious danger.

We urge your office to conduct a full investigation and pursue prosecution against any individuals found responsible. Strong legal consequences are necessary to help prevent similar abandonment cases involving companion animals.

Sincerely,

[Your Name Here]
