Seek Justice for Stray Dogs Reportedly Gunned Down in Village Streets

Target: Amit Yadav, District Collector, Jhunjhunu, Rajasthan, India

Goal: Seek the highest available charges, consecutive maximum sentences, lifetime bans on owning animals and firearms, and full restitution for the alleged mass shooting of more than two dozen dogs.

Villagers reportedly woke to scenes of blood-soaked lanes and fields after a man allegedly roamed with a gun, firing on every dog he spotted. Videos circulating online purportedly show the shooter stalking narrow alleys and open farmland, then pulling the trigger as frightened animals attempted to flee. Residents later counted more than twenty-five lifeless bodies scattered across the settlement.

Witnesses claim the shootings spanned two consecutive days, leaving companion animals and community strays alike dead or dying. Local activists say children found pets motionless at doorsteps, while elderly residents cowered indoors, fearing stray bullets. Social-media footage sparked region-wide fury, prompting police to register a case under cruelty and arms statutes.

Strong prosecution is essential. Sign below to demand consecutive maximum terms, firearm revocation, a permanent prohibition on keeping animals, and restitution covering carcass disposal and community counseling to send a clear message that mass killings of sentient beings will not be tolerated. Anything less risks emboldening future violence.

PETITION LETTER:

Dear District Collector Yadav,

Reports and viral videos allegedly depict a resident moving through village streets and fields, systematically shooting dogs over two days. More than twenty-five animals reportedly died, their bodies left where they fell. Children and seniors were exposed to scenes of extreme violence and potential stray gunfire.

We respectfully urge your office to ensure investigators pursue the highest applicable charges under the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals Act, the Arms Act, and related penal sections. Please recommend consecutive maximum sentences, permanent revocation of firearm licences, a lifetime ban on possessing or caring for animals, and full restitution for carcass removal, veterinary necropsies, and psychological support for affected residents.

Swift, firm penalties will honor the lives lost, reassure terrified communities, and deter future acts of mass animal violence in Jhunjhunu district.

Sincerely,

  1. This is what we have come to expect from these filthy, backwards, vile third world countries. I have to laugh when I hear that these savages have a space programme, can you imagine these low lifes taking their monstrous behaviour and polluting another planet with it. There is no hope for these degenerates and the abomination who shot the dogs will have no soul and a very low IQ so no point in talking to a vegetable.
