Seek Justice for Dogs Allegedly Found Dead and Weakened From Malnourishment

Target: Attorney General Jonathan Skrmetti, Tennessee

Goal: Ensure individuals face maximum legal consequences for allegedly letting approximately 20 dogs starve.

In Camden, Tennessee, a disturbing case of animal cruelty has come to light, allegedly involving 44-year-old Charles Jordan and 57-year-old Linda Jared. Animal Control Officer Gammon, along with Sheriff Ken Christopher and deputies, allegedly discovered approximately 20 dogs at the individuals’ residence. According to reports, the horrifying conditions included four deceased dogs left to decay, two of which were still in kennels, while the remaining dogs were severely malnourished with visible bones due to lack of food and water.

Upon arrival, authorities reportedly found dogs in various states of neglect: some tied on leashes, others confined in cages or kennels, and several running freely. The malnourished dogs allegedly showed signs of extreme weakness and suffering. Officer Gammon issued 15 counts of animal neglect for the malnourished dogs and six felony counts of aggravated animal cruelty and neglect for the two weakest dogs.

The dogs have since been removed and placed in a rescue shelter, where they are receiving the care they desperately needed. Despite the alleged severity of the situation, Jordan and Jared were not arrested, citing health issues. Ensure the perps face the maximum legal consequences

PETITION LETTER:

Dear Attorney General Jonathan Skrmetti,

I am writing to express my deep concern regarding the recent case of allegedly severe animal cruelty and neglect in Camden, Tennessee, involving Charles Jordan and Linda Jared. The alleged conditions in which approximately 20 dogs were found were nothing short of horrifying. Four dogs were reportedly left to decay, while others were allegedly severely malnourished and lacked access to food and water.

It is crucial that we take a strong stance against such allegedly inhumane treatment of animals. I urge you to ensure that Charles Jordan and Linda Jared face the maximum legal consequences for their actions. This case not only highlights the need for justice for the suffering animals but also serves as a warning to others that animal cruelty will not be tolerated.

Sincerely,

  1. Poverty, ignorance and ” health issues ” are NO excuse for this! There are resources out there who can help! I just can’t stand it to see and read stories like this. Stupidity is Not an excuse… ” ohhh… We didn’t know…. ” complete and utter BS. This is hoarding, this is mental illness ( at minimum) and SELFISH! If they really cared for these dogs, they would have surrendered them when there first was an issue.
