Puppy Found With Mouth Tied Shut and Chemical Burns Deserves Justice

Target: Roy Cooper, Governor of North Carolina

Goal: Strengthen animal cruelty laws after puppy was found with horrific scars and burn injuries.

In a heartbreaking case of animal cruelty, a puppy named Joy was found on the streets of Greensboro, North Carolina, with severe injuries that rescuers believe were the result of abuse. Joy, who is estimated to be about four months old, was taken in by the Perfectly Imperfect Pups Rescue in Raleigh, where founder Nicole Kincaid and her team are working to help her heal.

Joy’s injuries are alarming: chemical burns down her back, scars from where her mouth was tied shut, and damage to one of her eyes so severe it will need to be removed. Kincaid believes Joy’s injuries were caused by intentional harm, as her wounds do not align with the types of injuries typically seen in car accidents. Unfortunately, because the puppy was found on the streets, it is difficult to determine who is responsible for this cruel act.

Animal cruelty cases like Joy’s highlight the need for stronger laws and more stringent enforcement to prevent such abuse from happening again. We must demand that North Carolina’s animal cruelty laws are revised to impose harsher penalties on abusers and ensure that anyone responsible for such inhumane treatment of animals is held accountable. Take immediate action.

PETITION LETTER:

Dear Governor Cooper,

I am writing to express my deep concern over the recent case of animal abuse involving a puppy named Joy, who was found on the streets of Greensboro with severe injuries, including chemical burns, a damaged eye, and scars from where her mouth was tied shut. The cruelty that Joy endured is unimaginable, and her story underscores the urgent need for stronger animal cruelty laws in North Carolina.

Cases like Joy’s demonstrate that more must be done to protect animals from abuse and ensure that those who harm them face the maximum legal penalties. Strengthening North Carolina’s animal cruelty laws will help deter future incidents of abuse and send a clear message that such cruelty will not be tolerated.

I urge you to take immediate action to revise and strengthen the state’s animal cruelty laws to ensure that those responsible for such inhumane treatment are held accountable. This is not just a matter of enforcing the law; it is about upholding compassion and ensuring the safety of animals across our state.

Sincerely,

[Your Name Here]

  1. serial rapist and murderer comes to mind when animals are harmed.

  2. Getting as bad as Asia. Horrific, cruel and barbaric inhuman. Shameful

  3. FIND THESE CRUEL ABUSIVE ASSHOLES AND POUR ACID DOWN THEIR BACKS, DUCT TAPE THEIR MOUTHS SHUT THEN THROW THEIR SORRY ASSES INTO SINGLE CELL EACH WITH HAVING THEIR DUCT TAPE REMOVED OR ANY MEDICAL ATTENTION FOR THEIR BACKS!!!!!

  4. Someone knows something about who the culprit is. If that person does not provide information on the culprit, they are just as guilty.

  5. Hope they find the sicko

  6. I didn’t understand understand people. It’s beyond me that anyone would get a kick out of torturing a puppy or for that matter any animal. These are sick demented cruel people that do these things to animals. The reason they choose animals is because they can get away with it. We need more severe punishment for people who do this. I’ve always thought the punishment should fit the crime. Then maybe things will change. But until there are harsher punishments imposed on people that can do this it’ll continue!

  7. The guilty POS Dumb sack of 💩! Needs to be next!

  8. What sick fuck would do this. so many evil people need locking up.

  9. Authorities please start checking these abusers family, the abuse and disregard for a living being is at a alarming level of life altering abuse, heads and Jaws broken from kicks, burns chopping body parts, enough is enough, these abusers need to be held accountable and suspect in all abuse cases in the area including humans as often this level escalates to disregard to any living beings and if left unchecked well u know …. investigate what they have done, not the first act of abuse and not the last if not held accountable for this evil to a living being and not just disposing of a cellphone or pair of shoes …. stop what they will do in the future, check the children they could be victims or trainees to carry on the cruelty into the next generation!!!!

I agree that animal abusers are targeting children and people who cannot defend themselves. It is time we put animal abusers away for life and give them a taste of their own medicine.

  10. When you see what is happening to innocent babies and children in the news every night, … by adults …. on purpose …. then withhold food an medical aid, while the globe watches eating popcorn and not helping these poor suffering babies and children, what chance do animals have of getting empathy from human adults that can do something????

This is heartbreaking! You need to find this dangerous vile perp. It is vital to investigate fully under this monster is found. Someone knows something. There has to be accountability or no animal is safe. This little innocent dog under went a long duration of suffering! She lost her eye!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! She may have had the wherewithal to run away so please give her the maximum justice the law allows.

Thank you to Perfectly Imperfect Pups Rescue in Raleigh, founder Nicole Kincaid.

  12. I hope whoever did this dies a horrible painful death as do their family.

  13. Always people say, please we need tougher laws and then enforce them. Sadly nothing is done. This is a case where we may never know who or what happened. But we need to make harming animals equal to what is done to the criminal causing the harm. Make the laws so harsh that many will be afraid to do harm in case they get aught. This poor puppy is forever harmed with acid burns. I can’t imagine suffering such pain. Anyone caught harming any animal needs to know the same will be done to them. We must stop this harm and nothing seems to be working. Make the punishment fit the crime. You burn an animal, you will be burned. Maybe our vengeful population will understand what you do is exactly what you will get.

If any of these states with horrible animal abuse is too spineless to administer true justice, I’ll gladly volunteer my time to do it. I have my own stun gun and Karma bat. To quote Marsellus Wallace from Pulp Fiction – “What now? Let me tell you what now. I’ma call a coupla hard, pipe-hittin’ ****s, who’ll go to work on the homes here with a pair of pliers and a blow torch. You hear me talkin’, hillbilly boy? I ain’t through with you by a damn sight. I’ma get medieval on your ass.” This also goes for child abuse! Someone needs to start standing up for children and animals – both the most innocent on this earth.

  15. Roy Cooper? Are you fucking kidding me? You think he gives shit? Come on!
They pretend to care about Haitians eating pets, but they really don’t. It’s just a goddamn right wing bullshit talking point meant to rile up the base.

Find the subhuman pieces of garbage that did this to zjoy and execute them immediately.

  17. How sad for this poor dog.Im from the uk and I would certainly make sure my Mp knew

about this case and would make sure this evil piece of scum was jailed.I don’t know the laws in North Carolina but this person is sick and a child could be next.

  18. Find this fucker and do the same!!!

  19. an eye for an eye for animal abusers. We will help get rid of them. p.o.s. crap.

  20. The authorities need to hunt down whoever did this and prosecute that person to the fullest extent of the law and ensure that person is never allowed near an animal ever again!!!!!!!!! WHAT IN THE NAME OF SAM HILL IS THE MATTER WITH SOME PEOPLE?????????!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
