Demand Justice for Dogs Allegedly Abused at Sanctuary

Target: Hon. Aaron M. Frey, Attorney General of Maine

Goal: Ensure a thorough investigation and prosecution of those responsible for the alleged animal abuse at Coastal Dreams Rescue and Sanctuary.

A deeply concerning case of suspected animal cruelty has emerged at Coastal Dreams Rescue and Sanctuary in Bucksport, Maine. Authorities have charged Ellisha Krutuleski, the owner and founder of the sanctuary, with six counts of aggravated cruelty to animals and one count of cruelty to animals. Following the closure of the sanctuary, five dogs were reportedly rescued and taken to SPCA of Hancock County, where they are currently recovering from malnutrition and other health issues.

The staff at SPCA of Hancock County, along with behavioral specialists, are working tirelessly to rehabilitate these dogs, ensuring they receive the care and support they desperately need. However, the severity of this case demands justice for the animals that suffered under the reported neglect.

We urge you to ensure a thorough investigation into this case and to prosecute those responsible for this horrific treatment. Stand up against animal cruelty and protect those who cannot protect themselves.

PETITION LETTER:

Dear Hon. Aaron M. Frey,

I am writing to express my deep concern regarding the recent reports of animal cruelty at Coastal Dreams Rescue and Sanctuary in Bucksport. The allegations against Ellisha Krutuleski are alarming, and it is heartbreaking to learn about the apparently neglectful conditions in which these innocent animals were found. The five dogs now in the care of SPCA of Hancock County are receiving the attention they need, but the suffering they reportedly endured cannot be overlooked.

I urge you to ensure that a thorough investigation is conducted and that those responsible are held fully accountable for their actions. It is imperative that we take a strong stand against animal cruelty and work to prevent such tragic incidents from happening in the future.

Your intervention in this matter is crucial in ensuring justice for these animals and upholding the principles of compassion and care in our society.

Sincerely,

  1. The owner of this so called sanctuary needs to face the law. Hopefully the law will enforce any deviance from the law. Society is built on laws so we can live in peace. This woman doesn’t adhere to the law and needs to be removed from society. She must pay for ALL vet and medical costs, also any and all therapy costs, rehoming cost and Foster costs. This woman must also have a life long ban placed on her so she can never own, work with, or be near animals again! This is not the way you treat animals in your care thus she obviously doesn’t care about animals at all. Why people go into a service industry like this one only to bring harm and death is beyond me.

  2. The rotten owner of this sanctuary deserves prison time for her horrible treatment and abuse of the innocent dogs in her so called care. What a despicable monster she is.
