Stray Dog Shot Dead and Hastily Buried Deserves Justice

Target: Chief Minister Prem Singh Tamang, Sikkim, India

Goal: Protect stray animals from cruelty and ensure justice for stray dog shot in the chest.

A 3-4-year-old stray dog was found shot on Kahi Road in India’s Sikkim, its body hastily buried until an anonymous tip led to its exhumation. A medical examination confirmed the dog had been shot in the chest. This incident, which animal rights activists brought to light, has ignited public outrage and demands for stronger legal protections for stray animals in Sikkim.

Animal activist Sagar Singh and Rebina Rai from People For Animals (PFA) Sikkim have played a crucial role in highlighting this case, despite initial local reluctance. A rally is being organized to condemn this act and raise awareness about the broader issue of animal abuse.

This tragic event underscores the urgent need for comprehensive legislation to protect stray animals from brutality. Create a safer and more compassionate environment for all animals in Sikkim.

PETITION LETTER:

Dear CM Tamang,

I am writing to express my deep concern regarding the recent tragic incident involving the shooting of a stray dog on Kahi Road. This situation has rightfully sparked outrage and calls for stronger animal protection laws in Sikkim. The 3-4-year-old dog was shot and hastily buried, only to be exhumed after an anonymous tip, revealing the severe cruelty inflicted upon it.

This case, brought to light by animal rights activists, highlights the need for immediate and comprehensive action to protect stray animals from such inhumane treatment. The community is uniting to condemn this act and demand justice for the innocent life lost.

I urge you to enact stricter legislation to safeguard stray animals and ensure that those who commit such acts of cruelty are held accountable. It is imperative that we create a legal framework that protects animals and reflects the values of compassion and justice.

Sincerely,

Your country has a lousy animal abuse record.
If you’re going to practice vegetarianism etc.
you’re supposed to respect and be kind to
    animals. Figure that out already!

    • William Turner says:

I could not agree with you more.I used to admire india for it’s treatment of animals. The country has deteriorated in its treatment of animals and i do not understand it.

    • Totally agree, the hypocrisy is jaw dropping. Shame on their cruel vicious excuse for a country

  2. India which is an animal abuse country horrible

  3. They should blow these countries off the face of the earth. They are sick people.

  4. INDIA, MAHATMA GHANDI said:
“The greatness of a nation and its moral progress can be judged by the way its animals are treated. I hold that the more helpless a creature the more entitled it is to protection by man from the cruelty of humankind.”

No animal deserves to be the victim of DEHUMANIZED and DESENSITIZED SADISTIC PSYCHOPATHS!!

    • Thank you for sharing that its perfect!

    • That man must be turning in his grave to see such cruelty and savagery there

    • I believe this statement wholeheartedly but before we judge others we all need to clean up our own backyards. We may have the laws to protect our animals but the amount of petitions I sign says they not nearly enforced enough if at all.

      • Patricia Lamonica says:

YOU ARE ABSOLUTELY CORRECT ABOUT THIS THERE ARE LESS THAN HUMAN BEINGS SICK PHYCOPATHS ALL OVER OUR WORLD TORTURING, ABUSING AND KILLING ANIMALS THE LAW SHOULD BE EXACUTE ALL AND ANY ANIMAL ABUSERS THIS IS THE ONLY WAY TO STOP THE TORTURE OF ANIMALS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  6. veronique peere says:

That sweet little innocent dog is so cute, it could have had a happy life in a normal family, had it been born in a decent country.
This is so sas and disgusting beyond words.

God damn the murderer and let that human trash rot in hell !

  7. These sick acts of cruelty will never end unless strict anti-cruelty laws are enacted and followed through on! This slap on the wrist policy if even that is a joke people must learn to respect life period or face harsh penalties for the suffering they’ve caused then its their turn being locked up in a tiny cell under solitary confinement eating horrible food see how you like it?

  8. Dona Readinger says:

Unfortunately, I can’t find a country on Earth that treats their animals kindly and with respect. USA is sure as hell no better than most, in fact, worse than most. So before everyone throws stones, help clean the consciousness of your own country. Be an example, change laws and lawmakers. Be Vegan.

  9. I hope the bastard to die in the worst way that a human can die

  10. Colleen Devivo says:

  12. Jacqueline “Torture the S…” says:

Find this monster and prosecute to the fullest!!
He needs to lie n a grave, not the poor pup!

The poor animal laws, like a lot of countries, hopefully, the vigilantes who report this will just beat up these abusers as nothing happens to them!

  13. Shame on INDIA, you are a disgrace with all the animal abuse there.

  14. Horrible ugly bastards. Shoot them bastards instead I would I promise you I will shoot them all

  15. UncommonSensesc says:

It’s no wonder that I and so many others despise India! And the government does NOTHING to find and punish these abusers and killers. If God has a plan, I’d sure like to know what it is because this animal abuse has to stop! It’s just pure evil!

  16. this fucking worthless humans should be shot dead

  17. It’s India. Is anyone shocked. They do that ti women after raping them.

  18. Most of the men in India are molesters, rapists, and murderers.

  19. As if India is the only nation with Animal Cruelty!? Look closer to your homes! No one is perfect! Im not here to defend no country but there’s no point in pointing fingers when every nation on earth has animal cruelty happening somewhere! This is disgraceful and by no means unjust however playing the blame game wont help! Stricter laws against perpetrators need to brought in, education plays a huge roll and people need to be educated to understand animals are also living beings, who just like humans, have a right to live! It all begins when people start actioning rather blaming others! Im glad theres a rally, it shows there are people willing to make a stand to find justice
