I guarantee if you start throwing the book at these people and they have to pay a serious spine and go to jail I think jail Tim is going to be mandatory you would see less of these cases. At one time I served as a magistrate in Virginia and was the only one that took hunting out of season seriously or any kind of abandonment or abuse to animals as a personal endeavor for me to check into and take care of — we need more enforcement of animal laws.
when you find the owner and someone will know who’s dog it is if you show the picture.. stake them out in the hot sun and leave them to die as they did the poor innocent dog who trusted them.

To mention— if you see a dog in this situation baking inside a car and in serious trouble you can ‘smash’ the window with no comeback on your good self.
Make sure you have a tyre iron or suchlike in your boot just in case (not classed as an offensive weapon) as you may need it. There are very many if these brainless stupid bastards driving around with no thoughts whatsoever that their dog could die in agony.
Just a shame that the tyre iron could not be used on the back of these fools heads to maybe knock some sense into them!!

To mention, my heat calculations above were a little under par.
After around 20 minutes on a hot day the inside temperature of a car can rocket to 50 degrees Celsius ( 120 degrees Fahrenheit ) so yes, your dog would be literally COOKED’ inside with no way out.
But you see, there are idiots who will STILL leave their dogs inside and totally forget about them.
So, I believe I have every right to call these people stupid bastards who need the same treatment. Problem is the dickheads will never learn!!!

Didn’t even need to read the story to know this was Texas where only cattle are worth caring about. Texans, you can stop this with stronger laws and with at least some enforcement and something besides a slap on the wrist for those found guilty of animal abuse. Until you take it seriously it will not stop.
Please Don’t turn a blind eye on thus serious matter of animal abuse and torture. This poor dog died a horrible death and the person or persons need to be found and justice needs to be served by locking them away on felony animal abuse charges to the max and they should never be around or own another animal for life.

It’s Texas after all. They don’t care about dogs, cats or any other animal. There are plenty of articles about the horrific neglect and abuse of animals in Texas and nothing changes. It is one of the highest kill states in the US, the same or more than California. They just don’t care.

But to keep things legal, the ‘law’ and judicial system HAS to grow a big pair of balls and start dishing out sentences to fit the crime, (eg) if you torture or murder a living feeling animal then you shall be terminated by the ‘hot seat’ or ‘lethal injection‘ no messing!! And I guarantee as these turds are all cowards that within a few weeks animal murder and torture would begin to naturally decline. But it will not happen because the Judges again WILL NOT be granted the power to do it!
