I’m not sure what if takes to get a job done when it comes to animals that have no voices do your job prosecute people that fail them.
Harsher minimum penalties, stricter guidelines, and MORE clearly frames laws. Every state needs better cruelty laws and funding for enforcement and Prevention, but, the south really needs to clean up its act. It’s almost as if animal torture is a badge of honor…a “right” that people claim. We must evolve, and strong legislation and enforcement is a good beginning. I will certainly try my best to answer your concern / question in earnest.
First and foremost the red flag 🚩 Republican states are for the most part being run and governed by anti-animal people. Some Republicans genuinely love and care about animals- MAGA does not, Trump does not. Trump passed some really bad anti-animal laws that President Biden has only been able to get rid and change very few of them. There are typically 2 types of people in the world- Animal People and non Animal people. Most GOP Republicans “MAGA” Trump people are not animal people, therefore if they are in positions of authority when animal legal issues arise in the legislatures (state and Government) they will 9 times out of 10 vote against it. Many People work for corporations that exploit animals for profit and gains, example factory farms and stores that sell factory farmed products; Pet breeders who supply animals to animal research facilities et., Businesses that benefit financially from animal abuse and exploitation. Singling out the United States as having the worst cruelty cases is not being honest. Worldwide, animals are left to fend for themselves, harboring injuries, parasites, infestations, dead laying about. Subscribe to cuddly organization. They rescue animals from all over the world, often shipping them to the US for additional care and/or adoption. The two ladies being charged in this current scenario are often suffering themselves from abuse and need more than one type of intervention. Fix them, and the animals will not suffer. Do not kill people over the death of animals, but do levy justice. And therapy. Often, the culture hates dogs, dogs are seen as unclean, and they are singled out for cruelty. This is lack of compassion by those who never learned or experienced empathy. The whole world hates itself and often takes it out on the weak and helpless. All we can do is pray for those who do evil that they repent and change. That the animals survive and have loving homes and that people learn proper treatment and behavior around animals.
