Demand Justice for Goat Reportedly Found Locked in Car Without Basic Needs

Target: John Kellner, District Attorney of Arapahoe County, Colorado

Goal: Ensure stringent legal consequences for Nibbles’ neglect and mistreatment to prevent future animal cruelty.

Deputies from the Arapahoe County Sheriff’s Office reportedly discovered Nibbles, a goat, trapped inside a cage within a car under dire conditions on multiple occasions. Reportedly found with neither food nor water, and only a barely opened window for air, the scenario painted a grim picture of neglect. This allegedly disturbing discovery demands an immediate and forceful legal response.

There are reports of an earlier instance of neglect on March 7, with deputies stumbling upon Nibbles in a similar state of abandonment. Allegedly, despite issuing warnings to the owner, demanding veterinary care and basic sustenance for Nibbles, a subsequent check revealed a blatant disregard for these directives. The apparent repeat offense not only underscores a severe lack of empathy but also a troubling disrespect for animal welfare laws.

This case highlights a pressing need for a robust legal stance against such acts of animal cruelty. It’s imperative that authorities take decisive action, ensuring the owner faces appropriate legal repercussions for their actions. Safeguard the well-being of animals like Nibbles and signal a zero-tolerance policy towards animal neglect and abuse.

PETITION LETTER:

Dear DA John Kellner,

In recent distressing events, deputies with the Arapahoe County Sheriff’s Office reportedly encountered a grave scenario involving a goat named Nibbles. Reports indicate that not only was Nibbles found locked inside a cage in a car, without access to food or water and barely any ventilation, but also that the animal’s plight was a repeat instance of negligence by the owner. This pattern of alleged neglect highlights a critical need for legal intervention.

Following an initial discovery and subsequent warnings issued to the owner, which were reportedly ignored, it became clear that mere advisories are insufficient to instigate change. The owner’s alleged recidivism in this matter of animal cruelty necessitates a more formidable legal response to ensure the safety and well-being of animals under their care are prioritized. The sheriff’s office’s intervention, leading to Nibbles’ rescue and care, underscores the severity of the situation and the urgent need for judicial action.

We, therefore, implore you to take decisive legal action against the individual responsible for Nibbles’ repeated neglect. This case must be treated with the gravity it deserves, establishing a precedent that such blatant disregard for animal welfare will not be tolerated. By ensuring stringent legal consequences for Nibbles’ owner, you will be sending a powerful message against animal cruelty and advocating for those who do not have a voice.

Sincerely,
[Your Name Here]

“Arapahoe County Sheriff’s Office reportedly discovered Nibbles, a goat, trapped inside a cage within a car under dire conditions on multiple occasions.” Are you kidding me?? You mean the torture of that poor goat kept happening, because “warnings” were given. Sickening!
The individual that tortured Nibbles needs to pay for what they did! Locked in a cage in a car, window barely cracked, with no food or water!

  2. ‘Warnings’ don’t mean shit. ‘Warnings’ get innocent animals killed.

  3. i guess the authorities didn’t see it necessary to take the goat after the first of several times they were called. just a bunch of lazy idiots.
