Dozens of Dogs Apparently Left Starving to Death in Abandoned Houses Deserve Justice

Target: Michael C. O’Malley, District Attorney of Cuyahoga County, Ohio

Goal: Ensure legal action against those allegedly responsible for severe neglect and cruelty towards dozens of dogs.

Recent events uncovered in Parma, Ohio, have revealed a disturbing tale of alleged neglect and cruelty towards animals, drawing widespread condemnation and an outcry for justice. Allegedly, 36 dogs were discovered in dire straits within a residence, a scenario described as nothing short of horrific. These animals, including a cattle dog/husky mix named Tahoe, and a beagle named Sophie, purportedly suffered from extreme malnutrition and abandonment. This incident has cast a shadow over the community, emphasizing an urgent need for systemic changes to prevent such alleged abuse.

Further distressing is the claim that the decomposing remains of 146 dogs were found in another location tied to the same individual responsible for the Parma home. The alleged circumstances suggest these animals were confined, starved, and utterly neglected. The stark contrast between their reported conditions and their eventual rescue paints a vivid picture of suffering that demands action. The public’s reaction has been one of horror, empathy for the survivors, and a unanimous call for accountability.

The imperative for change is clear. This petition seeks to compel legal authorities to take decisive action against those allegedly responsible for such egregious acts of cruelty. The reported events underscore a significant gap in the protection and welfare of animals. Address this specific incident and set a precedent that animal neglect and cruelty will not be tolerated.

PETITION LETTER:

Dear DA Michael C. O’Malley,

The community is reeling from the shocking discovery of 36 dogs reportedly found in appalling conditions in Parma, Ohio. This case, alongside the even more disturbing reported find of 146 dogs’ remains in Mantua, has spotlighted an urgent issue within our society—alleged animal neglect and cruelty on a disturbing scale. The fact that these dogs, like Tahoe and Sophie, were allegedly left to suffer in confinement without basic necessities such as food or water, points to a severe lapse in compassion and responsibility.

The legal system has the power and duty to address these alleged wrongdoings. While the primary suspect in this case has since passed, leaving many questions unanswered and justice hanging in the balance, it remains crucial that we pursue accountability wherever possible. This includes scrutinizing and taking action against any accomplices or systemic failures that may have allowed such neglect to occur unchecked. The survivors of this ordeal, now thankfully rehomed, symbolize both the resilience of the spirit and the dire consequences of inaction.

We, therefore, urge you to utilize the full extent of your authority to ensure that justice is served for the alleged victims of this profound neglect. By taking a firm stance against such acts, you have the opportunity to affirm our community’s commitment to compassion, justice, and the welfare of all beings. Let this case serve as a deterrent to potential future acts of cruelty and as a call to action for improved animal welfare laws and enforcement.

Sincerely,

[Your Name Here]

  1. What will it take before the laws are changed? It is ridiculous how the stories get worse and worse, but nothing changes. I say take to the streets with pitch forks and fire! Let them sit up and take note.

  2. HOW CAN ANYONE WITH A HEART OR CONSCIENCE DO SUCH UNSPEAKABLE ACTS OF ANIMAL ABUSE AND CRUELTY. THIS IS UNCONSCIONABLE. PROSECUTE THOSE RESPONSIBLE TO THE FULL EXTENT OF THE LAW AND HOPEFULLY SOMEONE WILL LOCK THEM IN A FREEZER AND LEAVE THE PREMISES. THESE BEAUTIFUL SOULS NEED JUSTICE.

    • I agree fully. These cases are absolutely heartbreaking.

    • Debbie Haws says:

It’s got to be a mental illness! A severe one at that. Sick and tired and disgusted and disturbed and truly unable to even look at these animals. It’s more than sad. Lock up within the jail or institution, I really don’t care. Off the streets period!

  3. Elease M. Bradford says:

I’m so sorry hear about the abuse and neglect Tahoe, Sophie and the other dogs were subjected to. This is unacceptable and the despicable people who are responsible for this pain and suffering need to be punished. RIP for the 146 fur babies who passed on and get well soon Tahoe and Sophie. I hope you all get justice.

  4. The SCUMBAG POS owner of Parma home needs to die a long agonizing death the same way they did these poor dogs! Put this SCUMBA POS behind bars for a really long time and NEVER allow another animal near them!

  5. Garlina Norris says:

Must be a male that did this again. Put the perpetrator in a small cage in the freezing weather with out food or water. Enjoy and good riddance. 🤣

  6. This dehumanized sorry excuse for a so-called animal caretaker would be better served locked up in an abandoned house and be left without provisions or water. There are many to choose from, moldy, ice cold, desolate, empty, stripped of any and all former warmth and charm, if there ever was any. I grew up in a house like that and no-one deserves it, oh but this abusive perp so definitely does.
The animals: Dogs and Cats, deserve to be treated with comfort, love, warmth and kindness. This soul-less creep deserves to know nothing except Midwestern frozen hell on earth.

  7. Irene Leggett says:

When will the justice system wake up, grow a backbone and start giving PROPER sentences to animal abusers??? The abusers are NOTHING but glorified thugs and should be treated as such.

  8. Deborah Oakley says:

Until something is done about our judicial system nothing is going to change!!! It’s case after case after case!!!! When they get serious and put these monsters away or better yet an eye for an eye and give them the punishment that they did to these undeserving animals!!!! Please get serious with these monsters!!!!!

  9. Christine Grabar says:

I strongly agree with everyone. We need stronger laws worldwide. These poor fur babies need justice.

Please sign my petition about needing to end all animal cruelty worldwide on change.org. I also wrote to Congress a while ago.

    Thank you,

    Christine

  10. Paula Long says:

Lock them in the house with no water, food, heat or A/C and no chance to get out ever!!

  11. Disgusting so-called ‘humans’ – they are the scum of the earth and need to be removed from society FOR GOOD.

  12. The bastard responsible for all this animal cruelty deserves to be shot dead

    • According to the case presented above, this bastard of a woman has died of cancer since the discovery of these innocent dogs.
Well this good as the bugger definitely WILL NOT-be staving and torturing any animals ever again!
What is not so good is that the bastard has not been taken to account for her torturing misdeeds.
What she really needed was the same treatment. Being ‘staved to death’ so the twat would know what it is like being left without food or water. Bastard!!! I really would have liked five minutes with this animal torturing arsehole.!!
Surely someone, somewhere must have known that this was happening? I mean thirty six dogs being starved to death must have been making some noise?
Non-caring bastards like this the world over MUST be dealt with accordingly and I don’t mean waiting for the useless Justice system to do anything about these atrocities as they could not give a toss!! These pricks need a real good kicking also and must get their arses into gear to stop this torturous murder of innocent animals!
Although we will be waiting a long time for this to happen. These bastards need dealing with once found and we all know what is needed here. A nice painful death delivered by groups of people who feel exactly the same as we do here.
They are all demented arrogant bastards who the world will never miss!!!!
      J.W.

  13. The people of Mantua, Ohio need to know that there is zero tolerance for senseless animal abuse in their communities with decisive action from authorities that clearly communities “no more”.

  14. Do to him what he has done to them.hope the sobs don’t get possession of the pets.put his butt out there and starve him.no water for or shelter. Hope he burns in hell.

  15. Nicole Davis says:

YET ANOTHER DISGRACEFUL WASTE OF SPACE ON THIS PLANET.
ANYONE WHO DOES ANY KIND OF CRUELTY ARE JUST EVIL AND DO NOT DESERVE A LIFE…STILL, THEY MAKE THEIR OWN BAD KARMA AND WILL PAY FOR IT ONE WAY OR ANOTHER.
WAKE UP AND DO THE JOB YOU ARE TAKING THE MONEY FOR…PUNISH THEM TO THE HIGHEST DEGREE AND THEN SOME…MAKE AN EXAMPLE OF THESE WICKED, EVIL `PEOPLE`…AND NOW. WAKE UP!!

  16. These mentally deranged, severe dog abusing/killing scumbags must have the death penalty implemented immediately. A slow and agonizing death for each of these evil cretins is essential!

    • It is the only way. Scum must be removed from the planet. Animals do not have a voice so it is up to us to lobby for care on their behalf. Evil monsters need Street Justice, the sort they won’t recover from.

  17. Dennis Busto says:

Absolutely No Tolerance Towards Animal ABUSERS n Cruelty. An eye for an eye fits this crime and should be the punishment. Paws Matter 🐾

  18. Kives Hulon says:

I think it’s obvious this person has some serious mental issues towards the homeless animals that depend on the publics love in order to survive. Either it’s contempt or a hate bc he gets no love while a dirty dog does, who knows. He should be locked up for 20 yrs and undergo serious psychological help and diagnosis. We know from past murders that many CRAZIES start their killing and torture with animals and people that won’t be missed.

  19. Stephanie Geyser says:

I wonder how the animal-owners treat their children (God forbid they have any). Would they also abandon them with no food, if they wanted to get rid of them? It’s a pity that they can’t be starved to death themselves as punishment – to teach them a lesson that they won’t forget, and to rid the world of human trash.

  20. Linda Mathews says:

Death penalty!!! It’s the only way to deal with animal abusers!!! Also IDGAF how fckn hard your childhood was or how shit your parents were it’s no fckn excuse!!!
We all make our choices in life!!
