This is in my hometown. I used to donate to the dog rescue and I know people who attended fundraisers. This took everyone by surprise. The lady just recently passed away from cancer. But she was charged prior to her passing. However, that does not excuse what she did. I still don’t understand how neighbors, volunteers and others closely associated with this woman did not know what the hell she was doing. They should have called authorities and or intervened if she was shying away from them. Still no excuse and I am not sorry that she died herself. It was very selfish of her not to get care to the animals.
Perhaps you will understand why the only comment I ever make is…where are the neighbours, friends, family… Call the police, call other shelters, call shelters in the next town over. Whatever it takes to get attention where it’s needed. This eyes closed, fingers in your ears attitude has to end.

The law has to change in regard to animal abuse. There seems to be no end to people’s cruelty and it is becoming far too prevalent. Lock them up for a long time and ban them from ever owning an animal again. It is heartbreaking to think of the suffering these poor animals endured. It is heartbreaking.

Apparently, the evil bitch (Barbara Wible) who killed these dogs (160 in 2 different counties) by starvation and neglect has died while awaiting trial. I’m trying to find out the cause of her death but whatever it is, it wasn’t near the pain and suffering those innocent dogs went through. The pictures of where the dogs were found are just horrific and heartbreaking. I can’t imagine being starved to death nor starving an animal to death. I hope her level of hell is Starvation. The case doesn’t need to be dismissed but a fine levied based on the vaue of her estate, and given to the rescue shelters and organizations that took in the surviving dogs.
I wonder if her family knew anything about this, according to one poster this C**t died from Cancer, I hope it was painful and she suffered tremendously while croaking.
