Demand Justice for Animals Allegedly Killed in Catapult Attacks

Target: Zac Goldsmith, Minister for animal welfare and forests – UK

Goal: Enforce stricter regulations and penalties on the use of catapults to prevent animal cruelty.

Allegations have surfaced of a macabre pastime among youths, where catapults reportedly become tools of torture against innocent animals. This cruel hobby, unveiled by investigative efforts, highlights a disturbing network across the UK, reportedly with participants including children of primary school age. These youngsters allegedly share graphic content of their actions on WhatsApp, displaying an unsettling disregard for life.

The reported incidents involve animals shot, maimed, or killed with these handheld weapons, followed by further abuse. Such brutality is not only heartbreaking but sheds light on a sinister form of entertainment among certain groups. The RSPCA and other animal welfare organizations express grave concerns, noting a horrifying spike in animals, especially birds, suffering from injuries consistent with catapult attacks. These actions, described as ‘pure evil fun,’ necessitate urgent attention and intervention.

This emerging trend requires a significant legal response. Current laws do not classify catapults as illegal weapons, thus enabling their use in these alleged acts of cruelty without fear of repercussion. Demand the implementation of laws that recognize the potential for harm in such devices, ensuring they cannot be exploited for such heinous activities.

PETITION LETTER:

Dear Minister Zac Goldsmith,

Recent investigations have alarmingly revealed a trend among youths, allegedly involving the use of catapults to inflict harm upon animals. These reports describe a series of disturbing acts, where animals are not only targeted but subjected to subsequent abuse, showcasing a grave disrespect for life. The shared videos and images on social platforms, depicting such alleged cruelty, are not only appalling but also a clear call to action for us all.

The range of animals affected by these alleged attacks is vast, including but not limited to birds, deer, and squirrels, many of which suffer fatal outcomes. The RSPCA and other wildlife sanctuaries report a distressing increase in cases where animals are found with injuries indicative of catapult use. This alleged form of amusement among some youths highlights a disturbing disregard for animal welfare and the law, as catapults currently fall into a legal grey area that permits their possession and use.

We urge you to advocate for and implement stricter regulations and penalties surrounding the sale, possession, and use of catapults. By acknowledging the potential harm these devices can cause when misused, we can work towards preventing such alleged acts of cruelty. Strengthening the legal framework to deter this behavior is crucial in protecting animals from unnecessary suffering and ensuring the well-being of our communities.

Sincerely,

  1. Ban it please as it will only promote and encourage animal cruelty!

  2. Where are the parents of these vile kids?? No doubt they are just as bad….

  3. The UK does not care about animals. Look at the Mass Murder of XL Bullies.

    • Where i live some years ago i had to call the local authority regarding a scumbag brood who were attacking local pets in gardens near where they lived with a catapult. They also broke a number of our windows. They were housing association tenants while we all own, so we had to keep paying to reglaze. When i reported the kids to the council i was verbally abused by a woman who said “you hate kids dont you?”(those kids i did, but not all kids) so now you know why bugger all gets done. This was not far off 20 years ago i reckon. Kids depravity, however demonic, is just brushed aside here. Our judges are nearly all either corrupt, bigoted, politically biased or easily subject to bribes or outside pressures, so they simply wont implement the proper punishments or sentences for anything anymore. The police have their own political biases,
but are also invariably afraid of offenders so its all rather wild west here these days. The laws to deal with this exist, but nobody in those positions ever use them now, they just dole out finger wagging or mild slaps on the wrist in line with their own belief system. Whole set up is rotten to the core. This country is doomed

  4. Well how civilized is that? Get your act together, don’t be a third world country, find the scum and give them proper punishment, no letting these sociopaths off because they are not adults. If you don’t stop them now then they will be very dangerous adults and it will be your fault.

  5. Animal cruelty turns into worse things- WE KNOW THIS! stop this really disturbing nonsense immediately

  6. Judy Boyko says:

At this day and age where animal abuse is happening everywhere to every species by humans… is it jealously on the part of humans is it they know they can get away with it… our courts dont seem to look at abuse of any kind as dangerous to society also..and our courts need to think about his when they chose the right punishment for the abuser which they seem to forget about the animals or any species being abused. Animals can not speak for themselves and those who know of abuse or see abuse dont seem to want to get involved.. but if they dont and do not speak up it will not end… and proof its getting not worse but horrible than ever before!

  7. This action is horrendous! To do this to another living being is beyond vile. This causes horrible pain where the animal is hit. The effects are reality and so is the meaning of the action. This action is a deliberate means to harm an animal. It’s not just for an instant but for however long it takes for the animal to die, feeling the pain every instant until death. What a warped mind to perceive this action as acceptable. It’s not! Kids are doing this. Parents need to be involved in any court action. Every animal harmed needs to end in a court action. These kids need to serve time as they are fully aware of what they are doing and the misery it causes. They need to feel that pain themselves and their parents as well. This is not an action of a carting society. We are only raising killers, not people. To see if kids realize the harm they do, just stand a kid in front of a wall with shooters standing a few feet away. They the shooters aim at the kid. Once the kid realizes he’s next he will make a break and run for it. That running away signals loud and clearly he knows the pain he has shot onto another being.
