Dog Who Reportedly Died From Heatstroke in Scorching Hot Car Deserves Justice

Target: Tim Spencer, Roanoke City Prosecutor

Goal: Ensure consequences for individuals accused of fatally neglecting their dog in Roanoke.

This petition arises from a heart-wrenching incident in Roanoke, Virginia, involving alleged grave neglect of two dogs. Two individuals reportedly left their dogs in a parked car under direct sunlight with temperatures soaring close to 90 degrees Fahrenheit. Tragically, this apparent act of negligence resulted in the death of one dog due to heatstroke. Such appalling circumstances demand immediate attention and action.

Further details suggest that the couple is now facing a felony count of animal cruelty and a misdemeanor count for their actions. Additionally, the Roanoke police intervened, rescuing two more dogs from the couple’s home. These developments, including the apparently distressing footage captured by a witness, paint a grim picture of the situation. This incident not only reflects the supposed cruelty endured by these animals but also raises urgent questions about the need for stringent animal welfare laws and their enforcement.

Tragically, in Virginia, there is no Good Samaritan protection for animals. This means that if a bystander sees an animal trapped in a hot car, they are not permitted to break the window to save the animal.

It is time to demand thorough legal action against the accused to send a clear message about the severity of such neglect. Ensuring justice for the deceased dog and protection for all animals from similar fates is paramount. Urge the Roanoke City Prosecutor to take decisive steps in this matter.

PETITION LETTER:

Dear City Prosecutor Spencer,

This letter is an urgent appeal for justice in the distressing case of a dog’s death due to alleged severe neglect by two individuals. The couple reportedly left their dogs in a vehicle under extreme heat conditions, leading to the tragic death of one dog. This act, which could be construed as a blatant disregard for animal welfare, is unacceptable and demands your immediate attention.

The emotional impact of this case on the community and animal lovers everywhere is profound. It highlights a dire need for strict enforcement of animal cruelty laws to protect innocent lives. The community’s trust in the legal system hinges on the outcomes of such cases, and it is crucial that justice prevails.

We urge you to pursue the maximum legal consequences for this couple, under the charges of animal cruelty. Such action will serve as a deterrent to others and reinforce the message that animal neglect and cruelty are serious offenses. We trust in your commitment to justice and look forward to your decisive action in this matter.

Sincerely,

[Your Name Here]

To all parents who are thinking about adopting a dog/cat at Christmas time for a child. Please don’t make any animal suffer abuse of neglect or expect the children to suffer from loss if you return the animal to the shelter…Takes a careless human to return a living creature who needs your family to love! Dogs will be able to show you how amazing they are if you teach them, read their responses. Research ways to get healthy, proper care for your new FAMILY MEMBER.My rescue dog will turn 21 in 2024. George was the adorable example of the spirit of unconditional love. He is always a reflection of time and my love well spent. Be accountable for keeping and loving your animal as well as your children.

  2. These 2 bastards should be locked in a hot car and suffer the same fate as this poor, poor dog. It would be hard to imagine the suffering this innocent dog endured and those who knowingly inflicted this on the dog (and the dog who survived, who was hopefully removed from their “care”) should suffer exactly the same death. Of course, this won’t happen but Karma has a way of “rewarding” people like this….eventually.

    • These two pos should have known better.

      Agree!!!!

    • This shit is never going to end whilst there are pussy-footing pricks in power. And there will ALWAYS be pussy- fitting pricks in power because this is how their system works.
As long as these bastards have their big posh cars and bigger posh houses and a ‘eye watering’ pay check, they could not give a flying fuck about animal suffering and torture.
And these two arrogant bastards obviously have no brains as any normal thinking human would be responsible for their animals!
These two fuckers should never have had animals period, and seriously deserve the same fate so the stupid pricks know how it feels.
Now this bloody comment taken from above really REALLY makes me want to terminate the idiots who made this brainless demented supposed law! HERE IT IS!!!

      WHAT A LOAD OF BOLLOCKS!!
Myself and many other normal thinking people would stick two fingers up at these twats and put a brick or whatever through the fuckers car window without a second thought.
And anyone just try and stop me!!!
I’ll bet yet another bloody ‘wrist slap’ and told to be more careful next time. Stupid fucking laws are pathetic like the pricks who invent them.
Never heard such sodding nonsense in my whole life.
These two brainless ‘non-caring and ‘couldn’t give a fuck’ arseholes must be seriously dealt with as a warning to others.

Just to mention. If anyone reading this knows anyone about to give a puppy as a Christmas present, please try to politely dissuade them as most times the novelty will soon wear off or the little dog will suffer as the child and parents also will soon get fed up as a puppy is somewhat hard work initially and not a toy but a living feeling animal and must be treated accordingly. One can only hope but many puppies come off worse as silly parents never realise how much attention one little puppy needs.

This is exactly correct! And did you know that these are signs of a psychopath? Everyone of these postings are something that clearly needs to be addressed by the fucked up system we have!!

      • Your so right. I’m sick of all this bullshit. Enough is enough

    • Patricia Lamonica says:

TOTALLY AGREE AN EYE FOR AN EYE IF THESE LESS THAN HUMAN BEINGS ARE THAT IGNORANT THEY HAVE NO BUSINESS ON OUR EARTH IF THEY DO THIS TO ANIMALS THEY WILL DO THE SAME IF IT WAS A CHILD!!! VIRGINIA GET YOUR SHIT TOGETHER OR ARE YOU THAT BACK WORDS ALL AND ANY ANIMAL ABUSE IS A FEDERAL FELONY THAT IS THE LAW AND THE JUDGES AND DISTRICT ATTORNEYS NEED TO GET OFF THIER ASSES AND FOLLOW IT!!!!!!!!!!

  3. So sad! Justice or this poor animal

  4. WHAT THE HELL!!! Send these idiots to jail and throw away the key..how many times do police and animal advocates have to say say this?? KEEP YOUR DOGS AND CATS AT HOME

    • Wrong you don’t have to keep your pets at home! You can take your pets for outings. You just have to have some fucking common sense. Be a responsible pet owner, be aware of your surroundings, and know what the forecast is and the temperatures! Then plan accordingly… it’s that easy.

  5. The last thing I would care about is a place that does not have a Good Samaritan law….the window will be smashed. Screw the law, I’ll take my chances to save the animal. People really just keep proving to me that they suck!

    • Absolutely – what an appalling State whose laws ban saviours from releasing a dying animal from heat-abuse in a locked vehicle and who are, obviously, seen as more criminal that those responsible for killing an animal.

I thought Pres. Biden was an animal lover – about time to get the Top Man on board to enact logical, consistent national laws that cover all States surely.

      • Resident Biden is an f-ing joke. He’s too busy destroying the country to care about an issue like this.
        F J B
That being said, I would’ve broken that glass and DARED those owners to press charges. Roanoke needs an attitude adjustment.

    • Abs-a- fuckinglutely that Window would have been smashed. wild horses could not have drag me away from that heinous scene. I definitely would have taken the law into my own hands. The bystander that did not take action as far as I’m concerned is a fucking coward! just as bad and just as responsible for the horrible incident as the owners.

    • Good on you, Most normal people would do the same!! This us NOT A LAW. It is just a load of BOLLOCKS concocted by a NON CARING lot of IDIOTS who need their arses kicking up to the back of their necks and then given the same torture because that’s what it is.
I’ll bet the bastards would be praying that someone would smash the window then!! Stupid pricks!!!
      J.W.

  6. this worthless fucking human that , cause the death of the dog should die the same way worthless fucking piece of shit

  7. This bastard should be punished!!!

  8. Sickos should be locked up and away

  9. Christine Grabar says:

I strongly agree with Joan that cats and dogs should be left at home on hot days. I am a cat mom and cannot stand all of this cruelty! People should not get pets unless they are going to love and care for them. I also agree with putting those irresponsible people in a hot car or better yet, leave them chained outside in the cold with no shelter. I’m saying this because winter is coming soon over in Virginia.

  10. Execute this scumbag punk demon…very slowly…and let them rot in hell !

    • Naila M Johnston says:

Yesss!! May those insensitive and barbaric people die a thousand torturous deaths and be damned to hell!!!
ENOUGH IS ENOUGH!! WE ARE SICK OF THIS CRUELTY AND SUFFERING!!
      THIS WAS MURDER!!!
Treat it as such!! Death penalty!!
      DAMN THOSE DISGUSTING PEOPLE!!

  11. Dumb and Dumber here, both need to be taught a valuable life changing lesson here!

  12. DO THE SAME RIGHT BACK!! JUSTICE SYSTEMS NEED TO GROW A PAIR BECAUSE THEY CAN QUICKLY PUT AN END TO THIS HORRIFIC HUMAN BEHAVIOR!! IF TCRUELTY AND TREACHERY IS ALLOWED TO CONTINUE IT WILL BE THE UNDOING OF THE HUMAN RACE!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  13. Carleen Torrance says:

So, this person or persons and future persons, humans , people need to not be given a free pass just because they plead ignorance. The entire state and its voters need to come to the 2024 party. There has to be a law saying a Good Samaritans can save a dying animal or child. It’s all the same! They cannot save themselves!
Cannot speak for themselves. People of this state need to update their laws. Personally, I would have kicked the windows out. Saved those babies. I would have lost my shoe where the sun don’t shine with the occupants of that vehicle. http://www.heavencanwait.com

  15. Break the damn window anyway!!!! Murderers!!!!

  16. Stephanie Geyser says:

What type of morons are these sub-humans? I’d LOVE to put them into a hot car and video them frying to death. It would be good riddance to bad rubbish. Total oxygen-wasters.

  17. I absolutely agree that the State of Virginia needs good Samaritan protection for animals. This could be the difference between life and death for animals trapped in vehicles.

  18. Uncommon Sensesc says:

First of all, it’s not “allegedly” – it’s a freaking fact! The 2 worthless pieces of crap did this and killed an innocent dog! Second of all, I don’t need some law in some backwater state (all states that don’t protect animals are backwater to me) telling me it’s okay to break a window to rescue a dog – I’ll do it regardless and let them just try to get me to pay for the broken window! Both of those ass-wipes need to be locked in a car until they’re trying to explain to St. Peter how their own evilness got them there (then he can route them to the Down Elevator).

  19. The assholes responsible need to be licked in a cage without any ventilation until they are dead! Damn all animal abusers-they should get the same torture that they inflict on innocent animals!!!
