Horse Apparently Beaten, ‘Waterboarded’ and Dragged Behind Truck Deserves Justice

Target: Mr. Jody Smith, Sheriff of Cumberland County, United States

Goal: Demand an immediate and thorough investigation into the apparent whipping and dragging of horses.

A deeply unsettling video, spanning nearly 10 minutes and shared on social media, reportedly depicts a foal apparently lying on the ground and subjected to repeated hits with what seems to be a switch or stick. Shockingly, the foal is then apparently dragged by a vehicle while it struggles to stay upright. In a distressing turn, the foal falls and is seems to be dragged while lying on its side. The accompanying caption indicates that the small horse is subjected to further abuse, including being run over by a Gator-type utility vehicle and described as being “waterboarded.” This disturbing footage has elicited widespread concern and outrage.

Authorities in Cumberland County are currently investigating the case and County Animal Services removed two adult horses and five juvenile horses from the farm in Fayetteville. The urgency of this situation is evident as a veterinarian has been engaged to evaluate the condition of these horses.

The welfare of these innocent animals is at stake, and it is crucial that all necessary steps are taken promptly to address the concerns raised. Animal mistreatment is not only ethically unacceptable, but is also a violation of our responsibility to safeguard the well-being of all creatures. Demand action now.

  2. SADISTICALLY TORTURE TO DEATH THAT HUMAN TRASH!!! 💪🇺🇲 RENEE CARIGLIA

  3. What a cruel monster. Animal abusers are COWARDS

  4. That bastard deserves to be beat up to near death, then continuously run over with a truck until he’s dead.

  5. A lifetime ban is needed: from owning, caring for, possessing, and from residing in any house where ANY animal is present.
They need to forfeit all animals currently at this Fayetteville “farm” and also pay back costs for all veterinary care if applicable.
This cruelty must be stopped. You ahve the power to help defenseless animals. Let’s be serious about saving animals’ lives.

  6. Witts End Quarter Horses farm

  7. A news release Monday said the animals were taken from a property in the 4800 block of Enniskillen Road — find these POSs now.

  8. Agree all comments beat torture drag stab and give to animal lover to beat . No excuse and deal with this now. Leave this bastard to die slow.

  9. I hope the poor helpless horse survived this horrible mistreatment. The person(s) who did this need to be punished for their obvious lack of empathy and pension for cruelty to animals. And whatever you do, do not give these animals back to be subjected to more abuse.

  10. This is one of the most extreme cases of deliberate animal cruelty that I have read. Extreme animal cruelty that inflicts such pain is a federal felony. But those words are meaningless unless the penalties are substantial. This was intentional, sadistic, and depraved. please remove every animal from this “farm”. Please impart every maximum severe penalty possible under current law. And,please impart a permanent ban from owning, working with,or any unsupervised interaction with animals. These crimes are rampant in part because people believe they will walk away without substantial punishment. The penalties must be real deterrents or we truly fail these animals and in our stewardship of them.

  11. WHAT THE HELL IS WRONG WITH YOU ALL, A PETITION….REALLY?!
THERES NO TIME FOR THIS, WONT YOU PEOPLE GET TOGETHER AND SORT THIS HUMAN `TRASH` OUT.
CLEARLY THE LAW IS DOING ITS USUAL THING OF DRAGGING ITSELF, AS SLOWLY AS POSSIBLE, BEFORE IT DOES ANYTHING TO HELP THESE POOR DEFENCELESS ANIMALS.
HOW MUCH WORSE DOES IT NEED TO GET BEFORE THESE `MONSTERS` ARE DEALT WITH, PLEASE DO SOMETHING AND NOW TO STOP THIS ONCE AND FOR ALL…..DOES IT NOT HORRIFY YOU ENOUGH!!

  12. This creton needs to pay for all expenses for these animals until they are rehomed. Then he needs to have the same treatment as he gave those innocent horses. If he survives, Animal abuse/cruelty is a FELONY of up to 7 years per occurance. My math shows 49 years. Still way too good for this cowardly asshole

I’m so sorry to hear about the horrible abuse that innocent foal was subjected to and I’m glad those horses were removed from the property. Those barbaric, idiot(s) need to be severely punished and not allowed around animals. I hope that foal recovers from it’s injuries and that the horses get justice.

  16. Pamela Plambeck says:

If credible video footage of this horse cruelty exists..what’s to investigate? This is blatant, violent animal abuse. The person responsible for heinous treatment of a sentient being belongs behind bars. One question: who stood around for 10 minutes to shoot the video?

  17. Death penalty for bastard abusers, SOB!
    Justice for horse!

  18. Sherry Abela says:

This individual deserves nothing less than the harshest punishment that the law will allow. Those that find it “entertaining” to harm/torture innocent animals do not deserve to be free in society. Future offenders need to know that these crimes will not be tolerated. Please be a voice for the innocent.

  19. This CRUEL AND ABUSIVE ASSHOLE DESERVES THE EXACT TORTURE 100 TIMES OVER AS HE INFLICTED ON THIS INNOCENT HORSE!!!! A PRUSON CELL IS TOO GOID FOR THIS CRUEL AND AVMBUSIVE IDIOT!!!!!

  20. Ana M. Gonzalez says:

Can’t that monster be subject to the same torture? We need to start getting rid of human monsters like him ‘soonest’ possible!
    Thank you!
