A dead cat with its paws and head missing was found partially buried in a park. The animal’s guts were later found nearby. Previously, police had discovered a severed cat jaw in a school yard, tied to the playground bars with string.
This is not the first time this area has seen gruesome animal abuse. Six years ago a man was found to have killed and tortured over a dozen cats. He posted the videos of the abuse online. After his conviction, the man was sentenced to a 22 month prison term.
Yukiko Furuhashi, the head of a cat protection group in central Japan’s Aichi prefecture, stated, “This abuser went so far as to leave the cat bodies in public spaces, where there could be security cameras—clearly this is a purely evil act.”
No suspects have been identified yet.

It is imperative that you find this individual and locknhim away. I honestly believe he should be executed. A 22 month prison sentence is really nothing more than a slap on the wrist. His deliberately committed acted of depraved, horrific torture. A $50,000.00 fine and and 10-20 years of prison for each individual cat harmed would be closer to justice.

Japan won’t do anything except wring their hands and wonder how this happened. Then when the killer moves on to hurt people, they’ll wonder why the person, probably a man, is doing such a horrible thing. This has happened before. It was a child who killed cats and then he went on to hurt people. This is what sick men do. They grow up hurting cats and then they hurt people. They usually are males who have issues with women. It’s all very well documented, but because the Japanese culture likes to turn a blind eye to anything dealing with mental issues, innocent sentient beings pay the price. The deaths of these cats lie on the killer and the officials who let the killer walk free. Until Japan takes mental health more serious, this will continue. Baka, Japan.
