Family Horse Shot to Death by Trespasser Deserves Justice

Target: Patrick Hartshorn, Vermilion County Sheriff
Goal: Find person who trespassed on to property to shoot horse dead.

A gentle family horse named Apache was shot and killed by a trespasser. Apache was discovered by the owner of the home lying in a field in a pool of blood.

Apache was 5 years old and was a gentle creature who loved his family. “Apache was a good, loving horse that we and all my kids rode and took care of. He had his own personality. He was a good boy,” owner AJ Garrison explained.

When Garrison was asked who he thought might have killed his horse, and why, he responded, “Couldn’t even tell you, I didn’t know what to think. I never could’ve imagined it. He wasn’t a horse. He was family.”

Another homeowner Kristy Garrison noted, “There is no excuse for intentionally killing a gentle animal just for entertainment,” Garrison said. “I hope that whoever trespassed on private property and took pleasure in killing Apache is caught.”

The Sheriff’s Office has not yet indicated that they have any leads or suspects.

PETITION LETTER:

Dear Sheriff Hartshorn,

It is far too often in these crimes against animals that the perpetrator is never caught and punished. We hope that your office will devote all resources necessary to ensure that is not the case here. Apache’s killer must be brought to justice.

Sincerely,
[Your Name Here]

  1. This is why you need cameras outside where animals stay most of he time. If you could get a picture of whoever killed this horse, you might be able to hunt the mother-fucker down and eliminate him from the face of this earth and after you did that, make sure you never tell another human being what you did. Take it with you to your grave and maybe, just maybe, you won’t get caught and your animal will get real justice.

  2. Find the killer- kill them- end of story

  3. This vile, mentally deranged horse killer must have the death penalty implemented. A slow and agonizing death for this evil cretin is essential!
