Goal: Punish woman accused of snapping bird’s neck in retaliation against roommate.
A dispute between roommates allegedly ended an innocent pet’s life. A woman in Florida contacted local authorities, claiming she had witnessed her roommate Lindsay Theissen snap her bird’s neck before throwing the animal back in the cage. Theissen was arrested for the reported offense.
The tragic series of events began very late in the previous night, when the witness alleges Theissen initially started making threats against both the roommate herself and the bird, who was named Sunflower. After apparently receiving a text about Sunflower the following morning, the witness went home. Theissen allegedly had the bird in her hands and waited until the roommate arrived to commit the act. Authorities reported she may have been intoxicated.
Vulnerable animals are too often the collateral damage of domestic disturbances, and this disturbing pattern needs to stop. Sign the petition below to demand prosecution of this tragic case to the fullest extent.

Lindsey Theissen allegedly got angry at her roommate and took her rage out on an innocent living being in the worst way possible. She has been accused of snapping the neck of her roommate’s pet bird in front of the woman before tossing the dead body away like garbage. Reportedly drunk or not, this suspect needs to answer for her cruelty if she is found guilty.
Send a decisive message that animals will no longer be acceptable collateral damage in a human’s misplaced anger. Seek the maximum possible charges for this despicable alleged act.

As many of you said, it is not enough to jail her. I do agree that if I saw this I would take matters into my own hands. Unfortunately then I would be the one to be jailed. Our whole system sucks. There is no punishment great enough for an animal abuser,except maybe this one: put her in a cage with hundreds of hungry birds, crows maybe, until she is picked apart to death. Then snap HER neck.
I am thousands of miles away but here’s a little tip,
If you or anyone have a chance to follow this shitbag on a dark night, a nice hard crack over the head from behind, with an approved ‘head cracker), ( make sure it is real hard!!), then disappear. Get rid of the evidence then go home and have a good nights sleep as you would deserve it. Good job done.
P.s. If you do not feel strong enough to do this, then I am very sure that there would be many others who would willingly take your place!

Unfortunately, one does not know his/her roomie or lover, until something like this happens. When your roomie or lover hurts and/or kills your pet (out of anger or by “accident” then you really know the true nature of that person. Time to say “bye bye” and if you could press charges and get court processed papers on them for legal protection. Then seek a civil lawsuit on that person for emtional damage that they caused you, when he/she took the life of your beloved pet.
The “system” does not work! Somebody look up this bitch and snap her fucking neck! This is the only real deterrent. If they knew society would not wait and see what the pablum puking liberals might do as punishment, they would think twice before harming an innocent animal.

I am so sick of hearing about crazy , vengeful,sadistic individuals who are incapable of keeping their emotions in check, and end up murdering innocent animals in acts of revenge, rage, or cruelty! If the laws were stricter and included despicable acts against innocent animals, and the perpetrators were prosecuted to the max with appropriate punishments and sentences that actually suit the heinous crimes against those innocent animals,only then would these type of crimes decline. Sentences should include extensive, mandatory jail time and permanent bans from ever being allowed to own or even be around any animal for lifetime!

She should have her neck snapped, but that isn’t going to happen. Sadly, we simply do not treat violent crimes against people, let alone animals very seriously in this country. Perhaps if we did mete out quick and severe punishment (death sentences), that might stop some of these sick POS from acting out their violent fantasies or anger.
