Puppy Who Apparently Endured Bone-Breaking, Head-Busting Assault Deserves Justice

Target: Tara Miltimore, MA Cape and Islands Assistant District Attorney

Goal: Punish man accused of hurting puppy to fullest extent if he is convicted.

“I am a good man. I didn’t mean to hurt the dog.” Shane Tank made this claim at his pre-trial hearing for animal cruelty. The injuries reportedly sustained by the twelve-week-old dog in question, Pongo, seem to tell a different story. This animal suffered head trauma, lung injuries, and broken bones.

Tank claims that he merely tossed the puppy off the bed after the animal became aggressive. Investigators, however, have stated that the serious harm done to the dog could only have been caused if he was thrown with a tremendous amount of force. The suspect also says that he loves this animal from whom he has been barred contact. Yet his seeming brand of love could have cost an innocent puppy his life before it even truly began.

Sign the petition below to demand justice in this disturbing case.

PETITION LETTER:

Dear Ms. Miltimore,

The request from prosecutors that animal cruelty defendant Shane Tank’s name not be initially released to the public signals the potential continuation of a troubling trend in the legal system: the lack of vigilance in holding alleged abusers accountable. Mr. Tank seems very concerned about the damage done to his reputation. But what about the possible permanent damage inflicted to his alleged victim?

Please do not let this case slip through the cracks or fall victim to an overly lenient plea deal, as has happened with so many other similar incidents. Animal abusers often escalate to other crimes, and they present a clear and present danger to the community. Seek the maximum possible penalty in the event of a conviction.

Sincerely,

A 12-wk-old puppy was not the one with aggression issues- this low-life needs to be beaten within inches of his life – maybe “tossed” off of a bridge- the authorities that let these pos’ walk without prison time are just as guilty of animal abuse and need justice served to them as well

  2. Julia Edinger says:

That demon being “must be” severely punished!! Extremely dangerous to innocent children and animals!

  3. NO “good man” would even think to deliberately harm an animal. This guy is a manipulative, deceitful and/or totally delusional piece of work, and CANNOT be allowed to get away without heavy punishment for his CRIME. And the non-human dark energies who’ve infiltrated the legal world need the same!

  4. He needs the maximum punishment. He is lying about what he did to this 12 week old puppy.

  5. This severe dog abusing scumbag must have the death penalty implemented and nothing less!

  6. Raynesha McGhee-Reed says:

This prick deserves a Maximum amount of Punishment 4 doing 2 this poor puppy.

  7. Laura Rolder says:

Show this monster no mercy. This innocent animal suffered horrible abuse and justice needs to be harsh for the abuser. No more slap on the wrist and let off easy. Lock him away and never allow him around any animals for life.

  8. I am so sad a sweet 12 week old puppy had to face so much harm. I feel this man is lying. Tossing a puppy off the bed would not result in this type of injury. I feel the only person who thinks he’s a good man is himself. I hope the puppy was removed and is now in a safe place. This man needs to pay for all vet costs, rehoming costs, should never be allowed to be around animals again for the rest of his life. He doesn’t deserve animals.

  9. Nena Miller says:

The loser is nothing but a liar. He hurt this puppy with intent and should be put in jail. He should never be allowed to have an animal in any house he lives in.

  10. Oh my what this innocent and precious animal had to go through. I hope the person responsible for this awful abuse is prosecuted to the fullest and they throw away the key. This person isn’t worth a shi. And I just hope he gets what’s coming to him. Stop NOW.

  11. I cannot believe he thought anyone would believe a 12 week old puppy was being aggressive. Time for the justice system to start handing out justice for these innocent animals
