Goal: Punish woman for allegedly allowing dogs to live in filth and do not allow her to own pets.
A woman allegedly stuffed fifteen dogs in bags and threw them inside her freezer. Another dog was found dead near their kennel, possibly as a result of neglect. Fourteen others were further removed from the home after they were reportedly discovered to be living in their own urine and feces. The woman allegedly responsible for this neglect needs to spend time in prison and be banned from having animals if she is found guilty of these crimes, so that other dogs will be less likely to endure the same fate.
Authorities stated that the dogs were aggressive and said two of the animals bit them. Sadly, they will not be able to be adopted out unless or until they can be trained to develop friendly manners toward humans. Past reports indicate that police searched the woman’s home in 2018 when 14 other dogs were thought to be living in similar conditions. Surprisingly, only 10 of the animals were taken from the household. Sign this petition to demand none of the dogs rescued from the current situation be returned to her and to also insist she receive a strict legal sentence if it is found she committed this inexcusable animal cruelty.

Dear County Attorney Leavitt,
Fourteen dogs were reportedly living in their own waste inside a woman’s messy home. She allegedly also stored fifteen dead dogs in plastic bags inside her freezer. Another dog was said to be deceased inside the home. She must be arrested and no longer be legally allowed to have pets if it is found these allegations are true to better ensure other animals will not be harmed.
According to authorities, the dogs’ behaviors were similar to those of feral animals, likely because they were never taught how to properly interact with people. Unfortunately, the local shelter will not be able to put the dogs up for adoption unless they learn how to act more amicably toward humans. If this cannot be accomplished, these dogs will likely be euthanized. It is unconscionable that the dogs recently discovered may have suffered under this woman’s care, since deputies removed many others from her home in 2018 after investigating a separate animal cruelty incident. Instead of letting her keep four of those dogs, they should have all been taken away if mistreatment was suspected.
For these reasons, I demand you suggest this woman suffer appropriate consequences and that she no longer be allowed around animals if it is found any dogs suffered or died while under her care.

I truly care for my dogs. They have regular vet visits, healthy food, playtime and they live inside my house.
True. They throw stories like this, emphasizing something most would be horrified after hearing (like dogs in the freezer but actually, that’s where deceased dogs are stored. Go to any animal hospital, rescue, shelter, pound, vet,
etc and you will find freezers full of dead animals because that’s where they’re kept until they are picked up. But, yeah they post stories like this making it sound totally horrible so that people can get mad at the person responsible and talk a lot of shit so that those people feel good about themselves since they would never allow something like that yet they pay people do worse to the animals that are raised for food. Without knowing the full story I can’t automatically hate the woman or support sending her to prison. For all I know she had rescued all of those dogs from abusive homes or they were living on the street and she just wanted to give them a better place to live. Having a dog requires a lot of time, effort and money. Some people act before thinking it through. There’s been several times when I just wanted to rescue a dog just to get them out from where they are. It’s hard to find good, forever homes for dogs and it doesn’t take long before doing that kind of stuff gets to an overwhelming amount. The fact that she stored them in the freezer instead of just dumping them in the trash says a lot. I’ve known people who put their family dog or cat in a trash bag after it died and then through them away with the rest of the trash. The only reason someone would store them in a freezer is because they wanted to preserve them for some reason. I was instructed to do so if I wanted to have my dog freeze dried after she dies because otherwise they wouldn’t be able to preserve her for me to keep. I miss my other dog so much that I have thought about having my other dog preserved after she dies so that I would still be able to pet her if I wanted but I can’t afford it and I don’t have anyone to take her after I die so I no longer plan to but this may have been why this woman did it. I don’t know, she could be a wack job who planned to eat them or make clothes from their fur. My point is that I don’t know but I would rather give her the benefit of the doubt before posting such hateful, negative words. There are a lot more kind people in the world than you may think but a lot of them have good intentions without having the income to do as they had intended.
I didn’t get the impression she was breeding the dogs and selling them for profit. I didn’t get the impression she was exploiting them like so many others do to make money even though there’s an overpopulation problem and they are just adding to the problem. This woman may not be completely healthy or sane but maybe her intentions were good and she rescued them from far worse.

Keep in mind that animals who are raised for food live in far worse conditions and are treated horribly, even abused and tortured before watching their family members murdered in front of them and hung on a hook off the ground. Pigs are actually much smarter and just as loyal as dogs but they aren’t given the same rights. People love the taste of bacon more than they care about the welfare of the animals killed to produce that bacon. Dairy cows are constantly impregnated by farmers using a baster so that they produce milk until they are so exhausted and worn that they can no longer stand. These “downed” dairy cows are then dragged off to be slaughtered for their meat. It’s not my intention to be insensitive or make you feel bad but for you to care so much about a bunch of dogs you have never even seen, so much that you want to throw a person in prison or freezer or whatever just from a petition you read online but to have no care whatsoever about billions of sentient animals that are killed every year just because people like the taste blows my mind.
