Dozens of dogs were reportedly confined to small cages and left outside in the snow by kennel owner John Jones. The weather in Michigan dropped to below zero resulting in the water supply freezing, thus apparently leaving the dogs with no drinking water. The dogs reportedly exhibited extreme distress due to lack of exercise. One dog was apparently found dead with straw in his mouth. Jones allegedly did not know the dog had died. Forty dogs were removed from the kennel and Jones is charged with four counts of felony cruelty abuse to animals and three counts misdemeanor.
Multiple complaints were filed regarding the property for months. Several protests were held outside of the sheriff’s office. PETA also accused the property of being a puppy mill. They demanded an investigation against the property and Jones. The department had an open investigation since December. All the living dogs were thankfully rescued and are now safe. They are getting the warmth, care, and safety that they deserved all along.
Jones being charged for alleged abuse is a step in the right direction, but he must suffer consequences if found guilty. Animal abuse is a huge issue that occurs all over the world with many getting away with it. If Jones is convicted and harshly punished, others can see that animal abuse is a real crime that will come with legal consequences.

We must make sure John Jones is held accountable for the extreme animal abuse he allegedly caused. Although it is a step in the right direction that he was charged, he must also be made to face real consequences if he is found guilty. Leaving dogs out in the freezing cold with no water supply is illegal and cruel. His apparent abuse resulted in the death of dog.
No animal should be subjected to such cruelty. Please make sure John Jones is harshly punished if convicted of these heinous crimes.

But he must be let out when he freezes to death. He deserves this. The dog did not. The other dogs did not deserve to be left outside like that.
I am keeping a running count of the states which have the most cases of animal cruelty committed by humans. Very interesting but hardly surprising in the least.
There is never an excuse for caging animals, especially if outside in bitter cold weather. No living being should have to freeze to death. This guy deserves to be left outside in the cold! Please give him a harsh punishment and ensure the remaining animals who survived go to indoor homes where they will be loved.

That bastard must be charged with 41 counts of felony cruelty to animals, not just 4 counts. That bastard is guilty & must be charged severely. He must spend 15 years in prison with no early parole, must pay a $600,000 fine, & be banned for life from owning, breeding, or working with animals ever again. Real justice would be to lock him in a large cage with no winter clothes, no food, no water, no protection from the weather & the cage be put in the middle of nowhere with no way to escape. No wonder as soon as the temperature drops or heats up I go into depression mode , because I know that there is at least one POS in this world being a lazy, uneducated or just plain ignorant human hurting or neglecting an innocent soul. As a fellow Michigander please prosecute this disgusting person. No animal deserves to be left in frigid weather. I still have not forgotten about the Pittbull found in Detroit that froze to death. Please beware they seized 160 dogs from this home. They found them in cars. Old motor homes and in creates and in the home. The county had condemned the house and land. I reside in Michigan where is story has unfolded. There are four different animal shelters in this area and I am so concerned where they are going to house all these poor dogs. Yes he should be sent to jail for a very long time and never be allowed to gave a another animal. The best thing that could happen is animal lovers like ourselves to contact Grand Traverse County Animal shelters in Michigan and donate money to help care for these dogs because this will really tax their resources. Lastest update 2/1/2022 again I post from Michigan.Over 160 dogs fond: 32 dead 5 had to be euthanized, 20 dogs outside with frozen paws, 1 bag of five puppies found dead outside and 100 dogs found inside the house. HIS NAME RAYMOND FEAGLES HELD WITHOUT BOND BECAUSE OF ZONING VIOLATIONS BUT BECAUSE OF THE DOGS. CALL GRAND TRAVERSE PROSECUTOR AND DEMAND THAT ANIMAL RIGHTS CHARGES BE BROGHT AGAINS THIS SO CALLED HUMAN. RIGHT NOW CHERRYLAND HUMANE SOCIETY IN TRAVERSE CITY MI IS OVERWHELMED AND CLOSED BECAUSE THEY HAVE NO MORE ROOM AVAILABLE FOR ADDITIONAL ANIMALS. PLEASE CONSIDER A DONATION TO THEM.
We, as human beings, have duty of care, to each other, all animals and the planet. If we fail in this duty we fail our humanity. We have to stand up for those animals, and be their voice. We have to stand up against the cruelty of those who are guilty.
