Bring Justice for Puppy Reportedly Found With Broken Limbs

Target: Bhajan Lal Sharma, Chief Minister of Rajasthan, India

Goal: Ensure strict legal action against those allegedly responsible for brutalizing a puppy at BITS Pilani.

In a distressing development from India’s Birla Institute of Technology and Science, Pilani, a young puppy has been the victim of alleged grievous abuse. Reportedly, the 3-month-old animal suffered multiple broken limbs, cuts across her body, and attempts were made to drown her. This shocking incident demands immediate and thorough investigation and appropriate legal action.

Details have emerged of the puppy’s apparent ordeal, initially brought to public attention by activist Sameer Siddiqui with the support of PETA India, leading to a report being registered. Despite these steps, there is a critical need for further action, as the institute’s response has reportedly been inadequate. Moreover, the restriction of access to the campus for the family providing care to community dogs raises serious concerns about the institute’s commitment to animal welfare.

This appalling situation not only reflects a seemingly direct violation of animal rights but also highlights a broader issue of institutional accountability and animal safety. Ensure such incidents are not overlooked and that animal welfare is prioritized within educational institutions.

PETITION LETTER:

Dear CM Sharma,

We are writing to bring your attention to a deeply troubling incident of alleged animal cruelty at BITS Pilani, where a young puppy reportedly suffered unimaginable torture. This case, highlighted by the filing of a report, involves allegations of the puppy having her limbs broken, sustaining body cuts, and being subjected to attempted drowning.

These alleged acts of cruelty not only constitute a violation of the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals Act but also portray an apparent disregard for life and empathy within a respected educational institution. The apparent failure of BITS Pilani to respond adequately to these allegations, and their decision to restrict access for animal caregivers, raises further concerns about their policies towards community animals.

We urge you to take swift and decisive legal action against the perpetrators of this alleged abuse. It is crucial that this case be pursued vigorously to convey a strong message that animal cruelty has no place in our society, especially within educational institutions that should promote compassion and justice.

Sincerely,

[Your Name Here]

  1. So many sadists around, please educate the public to respect and be kind to animals India! Also, enforce and step up your animal welfare laws so that these innocent babies are protected! Punish these vile monsters harshly for bullying and abusing animals for fun and thrills!

  2. What is wrong with these people. These people need to be punished to the fullest extent!!!

  3. Young people would do this but would scream, plead, and promise anything to have the same not done to them.
The same needs to be done to them. No mercy as they gave none. This poor 3 month old dog is a puppy yet she will suffer the memories of this abuse for the rest of her life. These people are not worth her suffering. The abusers are scum and hopefully the legal system will recognize this is true and send these fools to prison for a long time. The need to reflect on their actions and the consequences.

  4. these scumbags should be shot, period!

INDIA, fast becoming a most depraved, vile, evil nation on this planet. The masses of INDIA are nothing but psychotic, barbaric, sadistic pieces of human garbage that are inbred with NO compassion, NO decency, NO integrity and NO moral ethics whatsoever. And one always thought that INDIA revered animals but obviously that is totally NOT true. Shame on INDIA, shame on the government and police who stand and watch and do nothing and shame on the heinous masses that inflict these horrific atrocities onto innocent dogs.
