Punish Suspects Accused of Brutalizing Cat and Blasting Another With Water Hose

Target: Brian P. Green, District Attorney of Monroe County, New York

Goal: Prosecute those allegedly responsible for violent acts that killed one cat and severely injured another.

Authorities announced legal proceedings in two cases involving alleged intentional harm to cats. In one case, an individual is accused of using a high-powered water hose to blast a cat out of a tree, resulting in fatal injuries upon impact.

A second case involves a cat owner who allegedly inflicted serious trauma on a pet. Veterinary examiners determined that injuries, including internal damage, were consistent with being kicked or subjected to blunt force trauma. Both suspects have been arrested and the cases are entering the judicial process.

These are not passive neglect allegations. They involve direct violence against animals. If proven, these acts reflect deliberate harm and require strong prosecution.

PETITION LETTER:

Dear DA Green,

Reports describe two cases of alleged intentional cruelty against cats. In one, a cat reportedly died after being blasted from a tree with a high-powered water hose. In another, a cat reportedly suffered serious injuries consistent with blunt force trauma.

These allegations are deeply disturbing because they involve direct physical harm. A cat in a tree should be rescued safely, not forced down with violence. A companion animal should never suffer internal injuries from kicks or impact.

We respectfully urge your office to prosecute these cases to the fullest extent supported by the evidence. Where veterinary forensics and witness accounts support the allegations, penalties should reflect the seriousness of active cruelty.

Please also seek lawful restrictions on future animal ownership for those convicted.

Sincerely,

[Your Name Here]
