Puppy Apparently Thrown Against Wall and Killed on Video: Demand Justice

Target: Seemanth Kumar Singh, Commissioner of Bengaluru City Police, Karnataka, India

Goal: Arrest and prosecute the suspect under the strictest provisions after a puppy was allegedly violently killed on camera.

A deeply disturbing incident has emerged after CCTV footage seemingly showing a man brutally killing a young puppy in a residential area. The video appears to show the puppy being violently thrown against a wall and slammed onto the ground, actions that resulted in the animal’s death. The footage, widely circulated online, has caused shock, fear and outrage among residents and animal lovers.

The incident came to light after a local feeder shared the CCTV clip in a neighbourhood group. Volunteers who rushed to the location say they found the body of the puppy, while the remaining puppies from the litter were missing and feared to be at risk. A formal complaint was subsequently filed by an animal welfare organisation, and police identified a suspect who is believed to have gone into hiding.

Acts of extreme violence against animals raise serious concerns about public safety and law enforcement effectiveness. When such cruelty is reportedly captured on camera, swift arrest and strong prosecution are essential. This petition calls for immediate apprehension of the accused, strict enforcement of animal protection laws, and accountability that reflects the severity of the alleged crime.

PETITION LETTER:

Dear Commissioner Singh,

We are writing to express grave concern over reports that a helpless puppy was attacked and killed in a brutal manner, an act captured on CCTV footage in a residential neighbourhood. As reported by animal welfare groups, the footage depicts extreme violence that resulted in the puppy’s death and has deeply disturbed the community.

A complaint has already been filed and police have identified a suspect who is allegedly evading arrest. The incident has also raised fears for the safety of other animals in the area, particularly the remaining puppies from the same litter who are reportedly missing.

We respectfully urge your office to prioritise this case, ensure the immediate arrest of the accused, and invoke the strongest applicable provisions under the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals Act and related laws. Firm action is necessary to deliver justice for the animal who allegedly suffered and to deter future acts of cruelty in Bengaluru.

Sincerely,

[Your Name Here]
