Dog Reportedly Found Injured and Dumped in Waste Bin Needs Justice

Target: Nikos Christodoulides, President of Cyprus

Goal: Ensure maximum penalties for the individuals who allegedly severely injured a dog and dumped it in a waste bin.

The reported discovery of a severely injured dog in a waste bin has led to the arrest of the animal’s owner in Pegeia. According to authorities, a woman stumbled upon the helpless dog and alerted law enforcement, resulting in swift intervention by the Animal Police. The dog, said to be in critical condition, is currently receiving treatment at a veterinary clinic.

This distressing case raises serious concerns about animal welfare and the enforcement of existing animal protection laws. The alleged act of discarding an injured dog in a waste bin suggests an alarming level of cruelty and disregard for life. Such behavior not only causes immense suffering but also sets a dangerous precedent if left inadequately addressed.

Justice must be served to deter future incidents of animal abuse. Authorities must ensure that anyone found responsible face the maximum penalties under the law.

PETITION LETTER:

Dear President Christodoulides,

The reported discovery of a severely injured dog in a waste bin in Pegeia is both heartbreaking and deeply concerning. The dog, currently receiving veterinary care, is said to have been found in a dire state, raising questions about the treatment and welfare of animals in our community.

The alleged actions of the dog’s owner represent a serious violation of animal welfare laws. Discarding an injured dog in such a manner seemingly demonstrates a troubling level of cruelty that must be addressed with the full weight of the law.

We urge you to pursue the maximum penalties available under the Dogs Law and other relevant legislation. Taking strong legal action in this case will not only provide justice for this innocent animal but also serve as a powerful deterrent against future acts of animal cruelty. Please ensure that this case is handled with the seriousness it deserves.

Sincerely,

Worldwide justice systems need to grow a backbone and start giving PROPER punishments to ALL animal abusers with NO excuses allowed. The rise in animal abuse cases worldwide is like an epidemic that’s increasing every single day so STOP it now and make punishments fit the crimes. Lets have JUSTICE for ALL abused, tortured and even horrifically killed animals.
