23 Horses Allegedly Found in Dire Condition Deserve Justice

Target: Andrew Womble, District Attorney, Pasquotank County, North Carolina

Goal: Ensure justice for horses allegedly mistreated and left in dire conditions.

Lori Murphy and Plylicia McAlpin were recently arrested and charged with 23 counts of misdemeanor animal cruelty after Pasquotank County deputies seized 23 horses from a property on Main Street Extension outside of Elizabeth City. This case of alleged animal neglect, which came to light in July, led to 17 of the horses being taken into county custody due to their allegedly dire condition. Following an investigation, the findings were submitted to District Attorney Andrew Womble, who recommended that the women be charged.

The alleged abuse of these horses is unacceptable, and those responsible must be held accountable for their actions. Animal cruelty, especially on such a large scale, should not be taken lightly. It is essential that justice is served and that these women face consequences for the suffering reportedly inflicted on the animals under their care. Take action now.

PETITION LETTER:

Dear District Attorney Andrew Womble,

I am writing to urge you to ensure that Lori Murphy and Plylicia McAlpin face the full legal consequences for the alleged abuse and neglect of 23 horses in Pasquotank County. The horses, which were seized from a property on Main Street Extension, were reportedly in such poor condition that 17 of them had to be taken into county custody. These animals suffered greatly, and those responsible for their reported mistreatment must be held accountable.

Animal cruelty is a serious offense, and this case highlights the importance of strong legal action to protect animals from neglect and harm. I encourage you to pursue the maximum penalties under the law to ensure that justice is served for these horses and to send a clear message that animal abuse will not be tolerated in our community.

Sincerely,

  1. Throw these two witches in jail for a very long time. Let them subsist on moldy bread, dirty water and live in filth. See how they like it.
