Demand Justice for Horses Allegedly Left Without Food or Water for Nine Months

Target: Minister for Rural Affairs Lesley Griffiths MS, Wales, UK

Goal: Ban woman who reportedly neglected two horses without food or water for nine months from owning animals in the future.

Two horses were allegedly left in deplorable conditions for over nine months, deprived of food and water. Reports indicate they were found attempting to eat their own feces, in wet stables covered in filth, and in significant pain. Allegedly, their hooves were overgrown, and one was found wearing a rug in summer temperatures, exacerbating their distress.

The animals, aged 10 and 14, were allegedly so neglected that a concerned member of the public alerted horse charities. A veterinary examination scored their body condition at a alarming 2 out of 9, indicating severe malnourishment. Medical care costs for the horses have exceeded £22,440, underscoring the severity of their alleged neglect.

Despite the reported cruelty, the individual responsible avoided jail time and was not banned from owning animals in the future. This situation highlights a critical gap in animal welfare enforcement. To prevent further suffering, it is imperative to ban those allegedly responsible for such neglect from owning animals. Demand that authorities take decisive action to protect vulnerable animals from future harm.

PETITION LETTER:

Dear Minister Lesley Griffiths,

We are gravely concerned about the reported case of animal neglect involving two horses left without food or water for over nine months. The animals were allegedly found in squalid conditions, attempting to eat their own feces, and suffering significant pain due to severe malnourishment and neglect.

Despite the seriousness of the allegations, the individual involved has avoided jail time and remains permitted to own animals. This outcome raises serious concerns about the enforcement of animal welfare laws and the protection of vulnerable animals from future harm.

We urge you to take immediate action to review this case and implement measures to ban individuals allegedly responsible for such severe neglect from owning animals. Strengthening animal welfare regulations and their enforcement is essential to prevent future instances of cruelty and to uphold the standards of care that animals deserve. Please consider the gravity of this situation and act to ensure justice is served.

Sincerely,

That pervert needs the SAME punishment as she had given those poor horses….. NO punishment….. NO jail time… NOT exempt from FUTURE animal OWNERSHIP…… WE’LL never END ANIMAL ABUSE with JUST a slap on the wrist to all these PERVERTS
