Justice for K-9 Apparently Punched 3 Times and Flung in Air by Police Officer

Target: Fayetteville Police Chief

Goal: Ensure your police officer faces severe legal and disciplinary actions for his apparently brutal abuse of his K-9.

A disturbing video has surfaced showing a Fayetteville police officer allegedly abusing a K-9 during a traffic stop. The officer is apparently seen in the video striking the dog multiple times, lifting it by the collar, and dragging it towards his car. This incident has sparked outrage and condemnation from the community, as well as animal rights organizations.

The video, posted on Facebook by a bystander, apparently shows the officer punching the dog three times while holding its collar. The video then appears to show the officer draging the dog, suspending it in the air by its collar, and swinging it by the muzzle. The incident reportedly occurred after the K-9 bit the officer during a vehicle search, with the officer claiming the punches were necessary to release the bite. However, the treatment of the dog has raised serious concerns about the handling and training of police K-9s.

Animal rights groups and experts have condemned the officer’s actions, calling for immediate removal of the K-9 from the officer’s care. The alleged abuse highlights the need for humane training methods and proper accountability for those entrusted with the care of service animals. The Fayetteville Police Department must take decisive action to ensure justice for the K-9 and prevent future incidents of cruelty.

PETITION LETTER:

Dear Fayetteville Police Chief,

The recent video showing a Fayetteville police officer allegedly abusing a K-9 has brought to light serious concerns about the treatment and handling of police dogs. The officer is apparently seen in the video striking the dog multiple times, lifting it by the collar, and dragging it towards his car. This incident has sparked outrage and condemnation from the community and animal rights organizations.

The actions of the officer, as depicted in the video, are deeply troubling. The treatment of the K-9, including apparently striking and dragging the animal, is unacceptable and highlights a need for proper accountability and humane training methods. Animal rights groups have called for the immediate removal of the K-9 from the officer’s care.

We urge you to take swift and decisive action to address this issue. It is imperative that the officer faces appropriate legal and disciplinary actions for the alleged abuse of the K-9. Ensuring justice for the K-9 and preventing future incidents of cruelty is crucial in upholding the values of humane treatment and accountability within the Fayetteville Police Department.

Sincerely,
Your Name Here

  1. This Officer does not
    1) need to be a police officer
    2) does not need to be allowed to be around animals
    EVER again.

This department should also ensure any police officer in charge of a K-9 Officer, is qualified to be in charge of a K-9.

  2. should be fired and jailed

  3. Why is this man still on the force? FIRE HIS ASS! No police officer who works with K9’s has the right to torture, punch, partners. If I were the K9 and someone did that to me I would bite hard on the neck! There’s a good chance the officer wouldn’t make it back from that wound! We read too often about cops who are not well trained. Is this the case this time too? We don’t need duties on the force. We need compassionate human beings doing the best they can. We don’t need ego boosted drill Sargents. Foos like this cop stop all potential growth for service and humans. No fools, no stupid excuses, no unneeded force. Get more with sugar than vinegar especial with dogs!

This vile piece of human trash is a disgrace to his uniform and badge. Unfortunately the ‘police’ seem to think they are ABOVE the law of the land and they can do anything they want with no consequences. No wonder all faith has been lost with the police. Make sure this POS gets punished although I expect his ‘bosses’ are already thinking up excuses to ‘protect’ him….

Worthless and useless piece of garbage. Take away his badge and throw him in a cell. He is a disgrace!

  6. Avatar photo Lance Kammerud says:

The Fayetteville police department already concluded that the Piece of Sh*t officer was justified in his actions toward the K-9..saying the dogs behavior was to blame. Soo once again another police officer gets away with their actions. ITS BULLSH*T!!

  7. this stuff nauseates me. this guy should be fired immediately. someone should punch him out at his next traffic stop. maybe then he will understand what he did to his partner. i would have bit the son of a bitch too.

  8. J.Mitchell says:

Even if/when an animal bites/scratches, it does not mean it isn’t completely innocent or vulnerable. Therefore it should not be abused – but just trained better and adequately – using professional skill, not physical violence. But it seems in this case that guy was just using him but otherwise had no love for him. And the doggie must’ve sensed it.

  9. This idiot needs firing immediately, with full loss of any accrued pension. If he was partnered with a dog who showed a snappy tendency he should have informed his line manager and the dog could be retrained. But whats far more likely is that he has abused this dog multiple times and the dog, trained to be a coiled spring ready to take down a dangerous criminal, had enough of his violence towards it. He totally needs to face animal abuse charges which need to stay on record for life, but also fines for damaging property of the state. Training police dogs is very expensive, and they belong to the public. Its no different to him crashing a police car drunk in this way; hes damaged and potentially destroyed vital equipment. Throw the boon at this sad piece of shit
