Target: Mr. Mark Kennedy, Chief of Police in Quincy, Massachusetts, United States
On a scorching day with temperatures soaring into the 80s in Quincy, Massachusetts, two dogs were allegedly left unattended and locked inside a car at a parking garage on Hancock Street. The concerned public reported the distressing situation to the Quincy Police.
Fearing for the safety of the dogs, the officers took swift action and broke the window of the car to rescue the animals. The pooches were subsequently handed over to animal control. The owner, who was from out of the area, is now facing two counts of animal cruelty.
Leaving pets unattended in vehicles during extreme weather conditions poses severe risks to their health and well-being. The temperature inside a closed car can rise rapidly, creating a life-threatening situation for animals trapped inside.
As responsible citizens, we must ensure that the rights and welfare of animals are protected, and those who neglect or endanger them are held accountable for their actions. Sign below and demand a thorough investigation so that the person who reportedly nearly sentenced these dogs to death faces justice.

Dear Mr. Mark Kennedy,

What will it take for these cretinous morons who leave dogs (or any other creature) in hot cars to get the message??? Year after year there are warnings about this (which no-one should even need in the first place) and year after year we hear of animals dying a torturous death, being slowly cooked alive because some mindless bastard has left them there while they themselves go off to have a cold beer or whatever. There is only one appropriate punishment for this and that is to shut these animal abusers in a car and leave them in hot sun ’til they are begging for mercy and screaming for help which should be denied them, of course. Just a shame this will never happen while we have people in charge who seem to be as cretinous and moronic as the abusers themselves. I despair….
It is just beyond belief that we are still having to tell people NOT to leave kids or animals alone in vehicles, especially during hot weather. Our vehicles are even telling us to check the backseat.
Is it stupidity or lack of parenting that has brought America to this point? I know lack of parenting is definitely an issue. There once was a saying “It takes a village to raise a child”, and it does. Nowadays, and for the past 40 years, parents do not want anyone providing any guidance to kids other than themselves. Maybe we need to get back to the village.
Kudos to the concerned public as well as the police officer for their quick thinking in rescuing the dogs! Please charge the pet owner for intentionally animal abuse with maxi punishment!
Let’s be real, everyone knows that you do not leave pets or children locked in cars, not in the summer, the winter or any other time. Everyone knows this, so make a case of this, let people know you will uphold the law and that idiots who do this will pay with fines and jail time and (hopefully) a ban on animal contact for at least a decade – maybe someone will finally learn that the law is real and this garbage needs to stop.
TAKE THEIR CAR AWAY TOO STUPID AND USED AS A KILLING WEAPON. NEXT IT MAY BE YOUR CHILDREN KLILLED BY THEM….
Me I would make them bastards sit in the same make of car with the doors block to where they can’t open and break the switch that operates the windows to where they can’t be opened and see how long those bastards live
