Upon arrival, deputies allegedly discovered the appalling condition in which these innocent animals were living.
According to the news release from the authorities, two mares, a tan Palomino, and a brown and white paint, were found lethargic, with their bones allegedly visibly protruding through their skin, indicating extreme malnutrition and neglect. Additionally, the two other horses, situated in a separate pasture, were also allegedly malnourished and underweight, further underscoring their potentially severe mistreatment.
The apparent neglect these horses suffered is a clear violation of ethical principles and a stark reflection of the lack of compassion and responsibility towards animals. The reported denial of proper medical care, including eye, dental, and hoof care, further exacerbates their apparent suffering and demonstrates a complete disregard for their well-being.

I notice no names were given.I Is this going to be one of those closed door deals to protect the people involved? Florida stinks! I know I live in Florida. Yet there are not the same high standards, in Florida, as are set for other states and even those standards are low.
When will we learn how to treat animals? A country is credited on how they treat their animals. Improvement is mandatory! Obviously we have a very low credit rating. And this attitude carries over in the way we treat wildlife, the ocean and people.
The only way to curb this rampant animal abuse is to make it hurt when people hurt animals. Jail, substantial fines, community service and lifetime bans on animal contact would be a good start. The more people hear that abuse will not be tolerated and that they will be held accountable (including with a big hit to their wallets) the less you will see of animal abuse.
